And a magical unicornOkay, so, this is supposed to be a really cool roller coaster, with multiple launches and different scenes and thrills throughout,
like a drop track and backwards portion. Right?!?!?!

The current rumor is opening on Memorial Day Weekend. Just rumor and not a lot of confirmation on that date though. For what it's worth, none of the insiders have given an opening date after May though.Sorry to bust into your thread and I don't have time to go back through all of it but when or what is the current over/under, sooner/later for the opening. Yes I really am asking for a friend. Thank you
I've never been during that time, but I'd guess it'll be busy, but not too brutal.Thank you @DoubleJ21 how bad do you think Hogsmeade will be in August. Not trying to get on the coaster, just checking out the shops and the "castle tour" aka chickening out.

Hogsmeade is naturally a bit more crowded feeling, regardless of general park business. People gravitate towards there and its a huge draw. Completely worth dealing with the people though. My advice is go early though. Diagon Alley is definitely still busy but more conducive to walking around and taking it all in.Thank you @DoubleJ21 how bad do you think Hogsmeade will be in August. Not me but somebody who gets very sick on BTMRR even after taking medication. From all descriptions, this is not a coaster you should be "chickening out" from. It will be fun and exciting, but family friendly and
not be missed.
Then definitely avoid Forbidden Journey.. That is a very difficult ride for people who dont suffer from motion sickness. My wife, who does a little, had a very rough time. Not me but somebody who gets very sick on BTMRR even after taking medication.
Forbidden Journey is really one of the worst rides if you have motion sickness. At least for meThen definitely avoid Forbidden Journey.. That is a very difficult ride for people who dont suffer from motion sickness. My wife, who does a little, had a very rough time.
Which is a real shame because it is one of the most incredible attractions ever built.Forbidden Journey is really one of the worst rides if you have motion sickness. At least for me
It has a lot of flaws. Other than the ride system, there's not much to write home about. The sets are unremarkable, the CGI hasn't aged well, and the ride story is all over the place. In terms of executing on an overall vision and story, Spiderman is still the best ride at the whole resort. In my opinion.Which is a real shame because it is one of the most incredible attractions ever built.
It is better with the new projectors and profiles. I loved it at first but as changes were made to the ride profile and the images were not as sharp it became a struggle but since the refurb it is great. Still plenty of motion so if that bothers you I would stop before riding. Queue is still top rate.Forbidden Journey is really one of the worst rides if you have motion sickness. At least for me
I agree. It definitely could be of the best complete ride experiences in Orlando, but the attraction makes me sick every time. My wife was only able to do it once. I wish they could come up with a less intense version(like Mission Space). Then definitely avoid Forbidden Journey.. That is a very difficult ride for people who dont suffer from motion sickness. Simpsons is more nausea inducing I feel - by far
I agree. I loved FJ and was amazed by the range of motion you experience. Simpsons is more screen driven and probably overall
doesn't have as much actual motion, but I felt more "off" when I left that ride, than FJ.
