I'm sorry to ask this, but could someone please tell me if these are gonna have A/C? I'm too lazy to go back 2 or 3 pages of the TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT pages to find out.

Once again spend time with google maps and inspect the IG area to see the Epcot lagoon is 15+ feet higher than the surrounding ditches and ponds you want to connect to it.
You are continuing to embarrass yourself by not doing the research
You mean the drainage canal that those bodies of water should definitely not be connected to? The one that the connecter between the World Showcase Lagoon and Crescent Lake specifically goes over? Now who's embarrassing themself?

So can we all just pretend to agree that these things are death traps which will be uncomfortable as hell and dangerous to people's health without AC and Disney has no clue what they are doing....Or we could just rehash the same ridiculous debate for 250 more pages:) Every time someone new comes along and enlightens us all with the fact that it's hot in Florida we have another 25 pages of this same thing.

Is there any information on when construction will start, and when it is slated to open?
Construction has started or at least there's construction walls up at EPCOT. As far as I know it's supposed to open in time for Star Wars Land.

You're aware that Singapore is about as first world as it gets, right?
I'm also aware that AC usage in Singapore is not like in the US. The typical family in Singapore doesn't use an air conditioner during the day they usually only use them at night and typically its a window unit in the bedroom... So while they might be first world, they don't have the same habits as an American that live in an air conditioned house or office building 24/7

You've been there, or lived there, I take it? I'm asking sarcastically because Singapore has central air in practically every building. I'm veering far off topic but I can't help but call people out when they are full of . You know Singapore (the country) is a big city on a small island, right? It's like a modern City-State.

It most certainly does not. The north parking lot of AoA/Pop is in the way. And you're neglecting to mention that Buena Vista Drive and Century Drive are in the way and would have to be rebuilt.

Not to mention that the boats at WDW are extremely slow and inefficient. Its faster to walk than to take those boats in nearly every case.

To add to the myriad of reasons why extending a canal is a bad idea, after crossing Buena Vista Dr, they would have to build another (expensive) water bridge to cross the drainage canal running parallel to Buena Vista Dr. if you follow that ditch around WS you'll see that it goes under the canal connecting crescent Lake and WS Lagoon. The water in that ditch is at a different elevation than the water in WS Lagoon.

Not that we needed another reason to justify the cost advantage the gondola offers, but it's there.

You're right, they'd be willing to deal with complaints over cost for the most part - but they wouldn't dare not put in AC if it was actually needed.

Actually, I believe they would dare not put it in depending on the results of the manufacturer's tests and actuarial results. It would not be the first time Disney knew about a hazzard and did nothing until an incident occurred. It would however, probably be less expensive to put the A/C in at the beginning than retrofitting the gondolas later.

The ponds and canals are all the same elevation. The waterway from DHS, crescent lake and the Epcot lagoon are all elevated. Use the tools google provides you and just stop
