I'm tempted to think the gondolas hadn't been moving for a while when that temperature was taken, too.Depends how you measure it and lots of other factors too of course. Moving at full speed with all vents open, a breeze against the skin will then make you feel cooler. But put a thermometer in the direct sun in the bottom of a cabin and it won't have the benefit of a breeze evaporating sweat and it will read higher than it feels.
Same in a car, the outdoor temperature reading might seem high, but driving along with the windows down you feel a lot cooler than the temperature gauge is reporting.
No air movement in a static load test, hahaI'm tempted to think the gondolas hadn't been moving for a while when that temperature was taken, too.
That’s what happens when you fly so close to the sun. Obviously the towers are just too dang tall. Lol!Don't know how true this is but interesting nonetheless..

Agreed, but relying on the guests sweat for cooling is a little disheartening if true.Depends how you measure it and lots of other factors too of course. no but it could also be 100% true.. Thats why i put it out there. I am not in a position to say it is or isn't true. If this was confirmed by someone like @marni1971 I would believe it.As of yet, screenshots of texts posted in Facebook groups aren't particularly reliable sources.
Worst case scenario, they can always build an air conditioned pod around each gondola.Agreed, but relying on the guests sweat for cooling is a little disheartening if true.

How about those ambient lights in the Gondolas.... I watched a vlogger last night that showed two cars on the skyway that had some sort of minor cabin lighting package installed. when the gondola would enter the Epcot station it had a red exterior light. When it left the station it was green.
In other news, Doppelmayr just won a nine figure contract to build the upcoming urban gondola system in Mexico City. It will be the third D-Line system in the Americas.
Unsure, Disney's will be the guinea pig as to whether people make it out unscathed or notWill it have air conditioning?
