I have a question that I haven’t seen addressed anywhere so we know the times are 5-15 minutes max on the skyliner...but how long does it take to go between HWS and Epcot (and vice versa) any thoughts? Also what is the hourly capacity on this thing? I’m thinking it’s extremely high with probably minimal to no waits since it’s continuous.
Then you haven't read the thread.

I think it's more of a case that these designs are fun, with the characters looking out and down at the other cabins or the people on the ground... there's a sense of creativity to this design, as opposed to a generic colored gondola. And interesting that so far the only Marvel design features Guardians.

Listen to the passport to the parks video... literally the guy is acting like he's at the most important moment in a generation...

So we can finally get people to accept that more than 22 gondolas will have character designs on them??? :)

And good lord man... no this is not 'history' or something to tell your grandkids about... It's vinyl wraps using existing character designs.

Did these people lose their @%#$ when the monorail wraps started too? Or bus designs?
Honestly, I expected just various iterations of the fab five...that there are so many different characters used from so many sources was a very unexpected and happy surprise for me.

Why would I take a bus from DHS to Epcot when I can take a gondola? I can ride a bus around my city anytime but I don't have the opportunity to ride a gondola. Maybe I'm just a transportation nerd but I would take a longer route on a more interesting travel method than a shorter one on a boring one.

No you are correct, it is definitely a cool novelty. I’m just trying to gauge its speed it’s revelance to other transportation methods. Definitely a welcome and needed transport system I’m excited to ride them.

The excitement over character wraps being revealed goes hand in hand with the excitement over imminent deployment of the Gondola system.

Interesting. There is another station (the Riviera station) just to the north of Aruba, where the new Riviera Resort is going up. However, I think everyone probably puts in as a second choice to the real CBR station because you'd have to make a short connection at the CBR station going to DHS, even though Epcot would be closer.
View from Aruba 2nd floor. It's right there.

Except the only difference today is you saw the art on the cabins. Something that... I did too from more than 4300 miles away. It's not a life memory... and if it is to you... get help now.

Opening is not imminent

Ohhh, sheesh! The revelation of the character wraps has a psychological impact on some people - making them happy via the images themselves coupled with excitement that the gondola systems opening is imminent - oops... Coming soon.
Some things - even small things make some people happy.

EXACTLY. Heck...I fully expected to have a "meh" reaction because I figured they'd only use the fab five. The fact that they chose such a wide variety is awesome and really surprised me, so yes...my reaction was way bigger than it would have been otherwise. I really do love them, lol.
