Honestly if they give a discount for having this "ruin" the view from the room I'll book that in a heartbeat!
legit gif
Discount? Heck, that's a new upcharge -- "Tower View Room."Honestly if they give a discount for having this "ruin" the view from the room I'll book that in a heartbeat!
People were having epic meltdowns on one of the other boards. "It's destroying the view!!" (of the parking lot)Yep. There was some nice Twitter "controversy" over it a couple months back. Unless I'm mistaken, I think there's one other tower that's even slightly closer to a room.
You won't be able to hear the wheels and cables over the screams of the dying passengers anyway.People were having epic meltdowns on one of the other boards. "It's destroying the view!!" (of the parking lot)
The other one that got my attention was that somehow they are going to be so loud, there is no way anyone will be able to sleep with the tower so close to the room (guess the poster thought the towers have motors on them)
Yeah, the site that shall not be named pointed that thing out and mentioned it was much taller than other towers, hopefully to keep out prying eyes, and that it's also on an end of the building with no guest room windows facing directly at it.Yep. What is that -- the Gondola of Sauron?I see you...

Looks like there are really only 3 towers near rooms.I’m curious where all the other Skyliner supports are within CBR. Can anyone post a map and Star the supports?

Don't think noise would be so much of an issue, but i wouldn't be too surprised if they eventually encase the lower portion of the tower in something more aesthetically pleasing as it does look pretty rough.People were having epic meltdowns on one of the other boards. I do wonder if you'll hear anything as the gondolas pass over the wheels on the tower. It's high enough up and pretty quiet anyways so I would doubt it.People were having epic meltdowns on one of the other boards. "It's destroying the view!!" (of the parking lot)

Nobody mentions the Polynesian rooms that are at monorail eye height and are about 15 feet away from the tracks...Id rather have the tower by me than having a train full of sweaty guests cruising by my room windows.
Looks like the closest the monorail tracks ever come to aguest room building is approx 72'...Nobody mentions the Polynesian rooms that are at monorail eye height and are about 15 feet away from the tracks...Id rather have the tower by me than having a train full of sweaty guests cruising by my room windows.
Theme it as a lighthouse.Don't think noise would be so much of an issue, but i wouldn't be too surprised if they eventually encase the lower portion of the tower in something more aesthetically pleasing as it does look pretty rough.
Just when you think there can't be any other euphemisms."making mickey"
