Can't wait for all the bloggers with their temp gauges opening week.
Has anyone posted this yet? It’s a pretty comprehensive report.

I can't remember if I was joking or being serious when I said this in June. I've seen a few other thermometer readings but think this is the winner for first in.

Nobody has had more or better Skyliner content. Nobody has put out more (free) advertising for this thing. I sincerely hope they are giving Rob a concierge level gondola right now!

I've been following Rob's Gondola videos during the construction process all winter long.
He helped break up the gloomy North East cold where I live (even though it wasn't a bad winter) with his positive, sunny videos from Florida.
I share much of his enthusiasm about the Skyliner - don't let the couple of concerns I have with it get in the way of that.
I'm so happy for Rob to have gotten his first flight!

About a year ago, Reedy Creek firefighters complained in an Orlando newspaper that their crews have not expanded since 1989. They were concerned about the Star Wars growth and the Skyliner when it becomes operational. And do they have enough personnel to respond quickly to emergency situations. Still an issue??
All of that noise from RCFD was the head of the union having a tantrum because they didn’t get what they (he) wanted in the last contract. He tried to relitigate the contract in the media because he didn’t get his way.

Taking thermometers is a bit pointless. There isn't any AC, so the temperature inside the cabins will be very close if not the same as outside. The only difference when inside is that there is shade from the sun and wind from the forward motion. Those two factors make it feel more pleasant inside than outside.

I would say if anyone has problems with temperature inside the cabins, they are going to be in big trouble the second they get out. A day in the theme parks needs some tolerance of high temperature.

Good gracious, the logic...the common sense...the reasoning...I'M MELTING!!! (It's like I'm riding the Skyliner.)

Seriously, thanks, Steve, for injecting some fact into this discussion. Also, thanks for the videos, I've really enjoyed showing them to my family the last couple of days.

A bit like plugging a fan in outside, and expecting a thermometer to read a lower temperature in the breeze of the fan.

I watched part of his ride videos yesterday but had to turn them off due to annoying reasons I'll keep to myself.

I would think the point of the thermometer is to prove that the inside of the gondola won't be 120 degrees like some think.
