I wonder if Disney is being very picky about which CM's can train on the sky way of death? The physical endurance you need this time of year to ride that thing.

What are you on about? The CMs will be stood outdoors under shade, very similar to monorail CMs and many many ride CMs (think Astro-Orbiter, Barnstormer, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo. There are many roles already that need exactly the same physical endurance.

It was a joke about the temperature inside the gondolas due to no AC, like 90% of the other posts here

But the cast don't ride inside the gondolas, they are stood outside on the platforms, therefore the joke set-up wasn't there.

There are plenty of videos online of CM's ride testing the gondolas.

Now that Disney owns the rights to Aliens through Fox, I heard a crossover movie is in the works where Ripley traps the Alien on a Skyliner at the end of the movie. Oops, spoiler alert.

That process shouldn't take very long, so it's probably no reason to do it at this point.

You would want to do that sort of training when a hurricane is NOT coming in case something goes wrong.

At CBR, space for only 1 bus at the bus stop, which indicates it will likely be served only by the internal shuttle. And just noticed landscaping screening cabin storage yard from view inside resort.

Seeing as they’re locking down the cables to prep for the hurricane… no.

Gondola's are also coming off the cables into storage. So, first look at the hurricane procedure for these. If one's coming, the system will definitely be down in advance to secure it.

If it were me, I would leave a few Gondola's on the rope just to see how they react to a big wind.
