here is the current reputation list, all users start at "User is on a distinguished road"

User is infamous around these parts
User can only hope to improve
User has a little shameless behaviour in the past
User is an unknown quantity at this point
User is on a distinguished road
User will become famous soon enough
User has a spectacular aura about
User is a jewel in the rough
User is just really nice
User is a glorious beacon of light
User is a name known to all
User is a splendid one to behold
User has much to be proud of
User has a brilliant future
User has a reputation beyond repute

Steve can you give us the low-down on how our number of posts a user has, are weighed in giving rep points or some what?

It depends, but on the other forum I'm on, it's weighted based on rep points and posts. Someone who has lots of rep, but few points can give you 50 points! Someone with loads of points a not a lot of rep can give you 20 or so.

Eh, Steve, can you please enable the option so the users on an individual basis can decide if they want their reputation to be public or not? It's an option in the control panel so each user can decide for themselves if they want others to see their reputation.

Yes you can go into your USER CP, and you will see you reputations scores and comments listed.

Yes its active, if there is nothing listed it means there have been no reputations actions taken on your account so far.

It is worth a try, but I think this may end up starting "clicks" and then singling out people they don't like.

Let's hope not, as it could be a very useful feature

Ok, so you click on the reputation thing by people's posts, you either say you approve or dissaprove. If you approve, the person recieves an amount of points, and if you dissaprove, the person looses points. Am I correct?

It should be on that main page of your User CP, at the bottom.

Go to the main USERCP page. On the right you will see a listing for Subscribed Threads. Just underneath that should be a listing of your reputation points & what thread posts you received them in. If a comment was made that will be listed also. :wave:

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is a good thing! There are always going to people that don't like you know matter how nice you are and a negative count can only lead to hurt feelings and possibly dropping out of wdwmagic.

I think that the reputation idea is great! The majority of people on here dont post anything negative... they keep it all nice with no problems. Of coarse you get some bad apples however thats only on rare ocasions (SP? :veryconfu ) Anyways.... I think it will work out nicely... great idea ya'all!!!
