New Fantasyland's Enchanted Tales with Belle now in limited previews

I'd have to agree, the experience of the show itself is loads better than the old storytime with Belle but the buildup to it has you expecting something more. The show itself seems like it would have done a lot better with a few special effects of its own and/or a complete telling of the story. As it is now if the attraction is really just supposed to be a beefed up meet and great I imagine the biggest difficulty management is going to face is that after waiting 40 minutes to see Belle, the kids aren't able to get her autograph. I personally don't really care about that though.
Pretty sure that they are handing out BELLE BOOKMARKS, that she hands out that have her autograph on them, to everyone that exits... It's not the traditional signature, but a memento with a "real autograph" not a printed one.

I found this via google... Autograph does not look to be hand done though...

We just got back from WDW and were picked to experience Enchanted Tales with Belle. Just wanted to give a few words IMO. The themeing is excellent....really feel like you are entering her cottage. Once in Maurice's workshop the CM points out items including the Magic Mirror.....AMAZING how it transforms into a doorway to the Beast's castle. (I am interested in the themeing and technology more than the flow/storyline). The animated dresser is fantastic - I got within 2 feet of it and still could not figure out how they animated her eyes! Then there is the Lumiere AA - nothing short of genius! Truly the ultimate in animating a 'solid', 3D object!!! There seemed to be a few snags in the flow of the 'show' since the CMs are rehearsing but all in all I think people will like it - especially the kids, many of whom get to participate. They distinctly told us before we went in that what we see today may not be exactly what we will see on actual opening. On the down side I think the wait is going to be horrendous....they will need the new Fast Pass tech for this one....the crowd just doesn't flow.

Not thrilled to see more proof that there isn't a chance for autographs on this. I understand it could potentially create a really long wait by doing it but kids won't understand that. All they'll know is they got to see Belle but weren't able to ask for her autograph. It'll become "I visited Belle and all I got was this stupid bookmark." LOL!

We were picked to see it yesterday too, and I have to say it was just soooooo cool. The CM's were really into their roles and got the entire audience involved. And the mirror is just amazing!

Saw a preview for this and thought is was good (great in comparison to the preivous Belle show). The surrounding area looks far superior to the rest of Fantasyland while the interior is nicely done too. Lots of details to really sell the "story", my favourite being the bite mark on the book. Kids were touching everything because of the lack of barriers though.

Mirror effect looks better in person as do the other spaces and AAs. The books in the library are not flat, but have curved spines as they should and the projected face on Lumier looks more natural. The library also appears larger too and has some dramatic lighting during the performance. The hallway with the Wardrobe doesn't really look like BatB, so that could have been improved.

Everyone gets involved in the show, even those who aren't picked are still encouraged to participate with "wolf howles" and knee slapping and the like. There was much lol and "awww" on the part of the audience I saw it with. At the end only the people who did however got a picture with Belle and I didn't notice any autograph taking either. This must have changed to shorten the time between shows.

Shocked to see no gift shop at the end (but that's good) and there's no real transition back "home" so that's a continuity error, but so is having human helpers in the castle before the curse has broken.

This will be very popular when finished so I'm glad I got to see it now. I don't think it's "overdone", I'm glad to see Disney spending some money on the new stuff. The argument should be why corners are cut elsewhere, not "it's too much here".

Isn't the exit close to BoG? I thought the concept was that after ETWB that you were leaving from the castle and the exit path is walking back towards the village. Obviously, the scale is off compared to the movie given space limitations.

You do leave from the castle, but you're pretty much right outside the cottage. It's not a major issue, but just an odd one given the elaborate set-up of the mirror.

It's like if they put the Hydrolators only at one end of the Living Seas.
