Okay I'm a Disney sucker. I started tearing up when walk came on in the video talking about Fantasyland. The new area looks great and it sounds like DL is getting 3 new shows. Can't wait to check all this out!

I started crying a little, too! I used to work in Fantasyland... That definitely has something to do with it. I love all of Disneyland, but I have a special connection with Fantasyland.

Yeah me too. Those are nice little touches they added and I like that the festival of fools is back in some form!

I'm not exactly the target demographic for the princess M&G's, but overall the area looks very nice. The shows inside the royal theatre should be fun as well.

My favorite part of all this is that the princess relocation gave us back a restored Fantasyland theatre :)

You can clearly see the same colored stones from the castle.

The castle wall extension is getting some paint. It looks great.

This project is really coming along. Kudos to Andy Castro from Dateline Disneyland/MiceChat for the pictures and always keeping us updated.

I had a chance to visit the Blue Sky Cellar exhibit this past Sunday, and it was impressive. Fantasy Faire is a little addition, unlike Cars Land, so the Cellar exhibit has several panels of displays explaining how they went through the design process for this from Inspiration to Blue Sky to the first phases of design and then on to the final design and facility work. Very interesting!

If you haven't seen the Blue Sky Cellar exhibit for Fantasy Faire yet, go check it out at DCA!

I'm not the target demographic for Fantasy Faire, but it was still interesting to see all the sketches and explanations behind the Imagineering process in there.

I think it's odd they devoted such a large exhibit to an attraction due to open in six weeks according the CM papers I saw. Seems like an awfully short period of usefulness for the BSC exhibit.

The Carsland exhibition was still open even when Carsland opened so I'm sure this one will stay open for a while too.

What else new is in the works for DLR? I guess they don't have anything else to show? Maybe after D23 they will have a bunch if new projects to show off.

Well there is the rumoured IronMan ride that will come into Tomorrowland but it's not anounced yet and who knows when that will open

All I know about is the new Mickey show (currently featured on one wall panel in BSC) and the Iron Man ride, which I think everyone's expecting to be announced at D23 for a 2015/2016 opening. There have been Oz and Lone Ranger rumors for Frontierland, but those are probably contingent on their respective films doing great box office.

What's funny is that Fantasy Faire was announced at the last D23, and was the only new "attraction" let out of the bag that round.

Last night I was just talking about how I've set my hopes quite low for this Iron Man attraction. Until they announce it and begin construction, I won't have high hopes.

My hopes are quite high - this is supposed to DL's Potter Swatter, something WDW never bothered to try. Since Innoventions is theme park blight, I'm anticipating a blow-you-away thrill ride. I'm confident they'll deliver.

Now if they budget this thing to death, all bets are off, but that doesn't seem to be the DL way.

Oh if the attraction were to happen, I'm confident the Imagineers and the rest of the Disney-Anaheim team would make it a star attraction, no doubt. My hopes have been set low simply because we've yet to hear any clues for this apparent attraction from Disney, and if it weren't to happen, I wouldn't feel let down. Just the opposite, if it does happen, I'll be really happy, since I didn't really think it was going to happen in the first place.:D

I'm sure we can bet on this ride. Avengers 2 is comming out in 2015 so you can expect them wanting to have a ride for then :)

This new addition opens in six weeks. The exteriors are coming along very fast, but I wonder what the interiors look like now?
