New Fantasy Faire Experience coming to Disneyland

The best part of Fantasy Faire isn't Fantasy Faire itself - it's that we get a real show back in the Fantasyland Theater after years of wasted space. The little darlings in their overpriced dresses now have a confined area to frolic and they have much to distract them here. It will prove to be very popular.

Those garlic and cheddar twists neither sound or look good.

I definitely agree with you. I'm very happy the theater is free again. Not only was it a poor spot for the princesses, but it was disabled from running any shows. I'm excited about Mickey's Magical Map. I hope it's good.

Clopin's Music Box has got some hidden Disney characters in the crowd.

Tony, Snow White, Flynn and Doc:

Beast (Adam), Belle and Peter Pan:

Smee and Geppetto (Geppetto doesn't have his mustache, for some reason):

Maurice in the corner:

Alice, Gaston, Sleepy/Bashful and the Coachman:

Great details.

I can't really explain it...but looking at these videos makes my heart sing.

They did a spectacular job of taking a nothing kind of space and making it something extraordinary.

The little details make all the difference for me. They didn't need a Medieval mechanical music box, or even any AA figures...but the fact they do is something that adds to an experience in small but significant ways.

I have been saving for a WDW trip later this year...but this makes me want to change plans in a big way...even though it's a little thing, it speaks volumes of the attention and pride that DL has...that WDW seems to be lacking.

Watching both videos of WDW's New Fantasyland...and this tiny little area in DL...and this one actually makes me happier.
( I haven't been to WDW since 09, but I also haven't been to DL since 2000...I sincerely think I am overdue!)

Haven't been since 2000? Dude... yeah... dude... they built this thing... like in the parking lot... with rides and stuff... you're gonna love it!
LOL!
Yes, I know.
I have pics from my honeymoon there...of the construction being done, and a CA button I bought from the Preview Center. :D

I live vicariously through the video my parents took when they went there. Someday...soon...

New Fantasyland definitely looks nice. The appeal for PFF is defintely there for me as well, though.

I can't believe you didn't get the chance to experience the tragedy of DCA 1.0. A DLR trip is defintely due!

I can't believe it either. I really wanted to ride Superstar Limo! (and I'm not being ironic. Ok...maybe a little)

When I think about all my really great Disney Trip memories that I want to share on this site...I usually have to stop, and think...oh wait, that was in DL.

It helps being in the center of the country, I guess...I am about equal distance from both places.
It's just that California always seems more expensive in terms of travel expenses.

My heart is usually sooner found in DL.
