On Friday, November 23, World Showcase hours will change to 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth beginning at 9:30 p.m.

Also beginning on Friday, November 23, Future World Attractions (including Mission: SPACE, Soarin', Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Test Track) will remain open until 9:30 p.m. These changes will be reflected in the Times Guides.

This is official from the Cast Portal. This is really big news since Epcot has closed at 9pm for a very long time

During the holiday season with candlelight it is always more busy. So they adjust the hours to make sure everything can be seen. It will go back after the new year. But that is great news!!!

Interesting news and I wish the hours were changed back in October when I visited WDW. Personally it would have been nice to experience Test Track after 7 p.m. in the twilight / darkness.

Very interesting that the popular Future World attractions will stay open. A good move by Disney.

There really isn't any change. Epcot's hours are always extended during the holidays to 9:30 pm. As for Test Track it's one of the attractions that remains open through closing time.

Test Track, and most other Future World attractions, stay open until 9pm on a normal basis. You could have ridden Test Track in the dark when you were there in October.

I don't know why they don't just keep Future World open till 9pm in its entirity, all the big rides are always open anyway so it seems like they may as well.

Nice that it's opening a bit later over Thanksgiving-Christmas, not sure why it doesn't happen at other busy periods (or why it isn't later than 9:30 even now). (Has been on the WDW website that it would happen since months ago, by the way.)

I was under the impression that this was big news and a permanent change since there was no end date given.

If it is just a holiday move that they do every year i completely consent to this thread being locked and removed.

Have a Magical Night

Still good news. No problem here.

Once upon a time, ALL of Epcot was open from 9Am- 10PM every day.

You can say that again mom. I remember it well -- in the early to mid to late 1980s and early 1990s.

And to add from the post above -- ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ -- I didn't know you could ride after 7 p.m. in Future World when I visited in October. The last time I was at WDW was August 1993.

But nonetheless, good news for the next time I visit. Thanks!

That sounds so nice... :o

My mom tells me stories about her and my dad being the last ones out of the park at 11:00 pm (which seems REALLY late to be the last ones, since it closes at 9 pm nowadays).

I wish EPCOT would stay open 'til 10 pm all year round, all the time. One can only hope...
