Those are bad-a$$ my friend. The epcot logo one was like the one I thought of getting before I got my family coat of arms. Still hope to get it one day, just don't know where yet.

I want to get the EPCOT logo as my first tattoo, but I haven't decided yet where I want to put it. I was also thinking about designing a tattoo with all of the old logos to put on my lower back (surrounding them with ivy, to make it a little fancy).

That sounds pretty sweet too! I was thinking along those lines last year myself. Was going to get the main Epcot one and then get all the individual logos over a period of time. Was like you though and didn't know where to get them, so went with my other tat idea for my first (can't go wrong when it comes to family). If you ever decide to get yours done, you will have to post the pics up for all of us to see.

I've thought about getting the Epcot logo and the original WDW logo as tats. So far I haven't gotten the courage to do it. :lookaroun

BUMP!

Just got home from the tattoo shop. I had a tattoo on my lower back that I've been hiding for 8 years (please, no one ever get a tattoo on the spur of the moment because their friends are). I've have wished I hadn't got it since the very next day. Anyway, found a great shop that would do my cover up with an artist who seems very trustworthy and made an appointment.

Today was phase 1 of my original EPCOT center logo. It's really a tough one since it's a big cover with lots of bold black ink. She is having to put white over my old black and when that heals she is going over it in color. The color will be in the spaces that the circles make. I think I'm going to go with teal, but if anyone has any great ideas of what would look good in that logo, I have a few weeks to decide!

Going to the World on April 5 and was hoping to have it done by then, but since it is taking 2 sessions I'll have to wait until I get back if I want to swim while I'm there.

I had also considered getting all of the original logos over time (they would all make beautiful tattoos) but I had quite a painful day at the shop because of old scarring so I am rethinking that one, at least at the moment

I've still got the bandage on now, but I will take a picture of phase 1 as soon as it starts to look good and see what you guys think!

Oh holy BUMP! (I never do this!!!)

OK so I have always wanted a Disney-related tattoo, and I am pretty much sold on the old EPCOT Center flower logo, but I don't know where to put it.

I'd love it in a place that would be discreet (inner ankle) for office/workplace purposes, but I love the logo so much that I think that I'd also love it on my wrist or somewhere on my inner arm.

For those who have tats already, what is the general consensus of tats in the workplace? Does it really depend on where you work?

Thanks for any advice!

As you can see in my avatar, I have my EPCOT logos on my calves. I'm a portrait photographer, so I'm always wearing pants or capris to work and it's easy to cover them up. Out of work, I always wear skirts and dresses so they are easy to show off :)

Were you at Destination D in May?

I sat behind a woman with these exact tattoos on her calves at one point... :)

And I am super duper excited to get my EPCOT flower logo tattoo... I guess I'm just uncertain about the "where" part of the tattoo decision process.

Possibly a Walt Quote ??

Some cool Tattoos on here guys :D

And to the poster who said tattos are icky :fork::fork::fork:

Yep. That's a quote attributed to Uncle Walt. I have a photograph of my late-mother, late-sister and myself sitting under the quote in the rotunda inside the American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT. It was taken in the mid-1980s when my late-sister and I were teenagers.

If you really want it on your wrist, I suggest NOT outlining it...it'll look sorta like water colors (at least mine does) so not as noticeable. I'm at work so I can't upload the pic but if you click on the link in my signature, it's the castle tatt.
