I don't like the box art much. Too much jazz and not enough EPCOT.

I wouldn't mind seeing what this DVD is like though. I have the MK one and I found that one somewhat okay.
Tough  - that's all we get these days. They're using the same logos for all four parks. I guess it's cheaper. Same "Where Magic Lives" cover art used on the Magic Kingdom DVD.

Number 6 - I'm quite curious! Fill us in! :)

The content will most likely include a tour of each major area of the park with a focus of details. Various characters will probably tour us around.

I bought the AK one for my son while I was down there last week. It's really good. My son loves it. AK is his favorite park. I saw the Epcot one, but didn't get it. I do want it, but we bought so much this time that I decided I'd buy it next trip. I'd really like to have the MK one as well. I didn't see it though.
Can you let us know a bit more about the AK one? And congratulate your son on his immaculate taste - it's my favourite park too :D

I saw a BIT of the AK DVD while walking around in Once Upon a Toy. I saw a great focus on detail around Dinoland with some zany character that tours us around. . . but wasn't enough of an AK fan to pick it up. :p

1. Where can one get the Magic Kingdom and/or Animal Kingdom dvds if one wants to make a purchase?

2. What do you mean the way "Walt wanted EPCOT to be like?" I haven't heard about that since I just arrived home after taking the people mover from my office in the central business district downtown. It was raining like crazy, judging from the sound of the water splashing off the dome over my city. Lucky for us we never have to worry about rain or humidity in our utopian city here in central Florida. Maybe I'll take the monorail up to the theme park over the weekend.

Brilliant....

Is there any chance that these DVDs will make it onto region 2 and over to Europe :veryconfu
They might, but I think with the EPCOT DVD just being released, it might be a while. I think it is too early to say yay or nay.

40 bucks for each DVD thats alittle steep even for disney prices.
That's the MainstreetMegastore.com price - they are always a lot more expensive that the park. I get the impression that this is a small outfit where they literally go to the park, buy whatever has been ordered then put their mark up on top of that.

By no means am I complaining!! It was more of a shock and utter disbelief. I only wish it was a true reflection of what's soon to come...

I know. :)

Frankly, I'm thrilled to see the geosphere without the Awful Arm. I have to conceed that the package is slightly too sparkly for Epcot, but I'll happily take a glittery DVD case over the arm any day!

AK's my favorite park too, but I was a little disappointed in the AK DVD. I was hoping for something more serene and keeping with the pace of the park. The images are beautiful (of course), but most of the DVD presentation is geared toward children, and was a little silly and shrill for me (reminded me too much of the current version of Resort TV- :hammer: ). Still, some AK is better than none at all.

I guess I'll stick with my own home made version :D

Okay, I bought the DVD today and they retail for $19.99. I have just gotten home so I haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I will likely watch it tonight or tomorrow morning. I will have a report on it for you when I am done with it. As I said before, if you have no way of getting to the parks to pick it up and you for some reason just don't feel like going through the Disney mail-order system, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I plan on going to Epcot next weekend because of the car show thing they have going on in the parking lot, so I'll be spending the rest of the time actually in the park.

Thanks!! I wish it gave the length.

"Professor Sy N. Tific" - bull! Should be Dreamfinder.

I liked the MK approach much more, but again shouldn't judge. Still can't wait to see it.
