It’s nice that they gave the one construction worker, who is building the place by himself on his spare time, the Saturday off.

Not sure why but maybe they are waiting for Cake Bake Shop to open. It would make their parks blog post more plentiful?Seems like a no brainer to me. I don’t see why they wouldn’t bring this back, it allows them to charge nearly $20+ more a head for breakfast.
And cake fondant.See, the world hasn't recovered from the shortage supplies from the pandemic. There's a world wide shortage of faux wood!
It will take a long time to interview all 7 billion humans to find the best bakers. This isn’t any old Cake Bake Shop.I’m so confused on why they decided to hire people for a project not opening until at least summer of ‘25.
Which ‘25?I’m so confused on why they decided to hire people for a project not opening until at least summer of ‘25.
This is likely being paid for by the Restaurant entity using Disney selected or approved contractors. For all the criticism people throw at Disney for slow construction.
This is it. This is the one project where no one can say anything
It’s legitimately wild, and I think most cries of slow construction are overblown
Makes sense. It will take a long time to interview all 7 billion humans to find the best bakers. This isn’t any old Cake Bake Shop.
9 out of 10 guests actually enjoy the authentic “we are rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy” story we are seeing play out on the BoardWalk. They’ll finish rebuilding on time no matter how long it takes! As the construction is happening on a Disney owned resort building, you would think that Disney would handle all of the build-out... so if the tenant is having cash flow issues, the project doesn't sit in an unfinished state for years awaiting the Tenant to win the lotto to complete the construction... There really is no good reason they do not at least get this structure closed up and completed on the exterior.... Then they can spend another 3 to 5 years to complete the Marriott inspired thematic interior.
The poor corn dog stand was just an innocent victim of circumstance.9 out of 10 guests actually enjoy the authentic “we are rebuilding after Hurricane Sandy” story we are seeing play out on the BoardWalk. They’ll finish rebuilding on time no matter how long it takes!
Still arguing with the insurance company after all these years. Poor bastards. The poor corn dog stand was just an innocent victim of circumstance.
I'm presuming that that's just a layer of grey mold that has overtaken the building.View attachment 780871
At least the puple is most painted over.
Does tgis mean the building will be receiving a "dryvit" type coating snd not a "typical" New England clap board or shingle exterior?
Who knows at this point...I think the paint is a distraction to make it look like something is actually happening....lolView attachment 780871
