Is it delicious? For $16, the carrots in the carrot cake better come from the freakin Hundred Acre Wood.

The good news is, it probably will be more expensive at Disney due to Chapek getting his cut.

With cupcakes going for at least $6 at WDW, a $16 cake slice does not seem that far fetched...

We are replacing BoardWalk Bakery with a signature restaurant dessert menu? That doesn’t feel right.
Maybe I’ll settle for a $7 brownie.
A nice slice of Chapek will settle you down.

I love a good afternoon tea and/ or french patisserie as much as the next lady but I am so sad about ESPN closing. My husband and my son loved that place.
Disney is leaving money on the table - my husband and son could leave the parks after lunch (which they paid park prices for for) spend all afternoon with some wings and beer and still go out and shell out the big bucks for a Disney dinner. All that mid afternoon or late evening snacking while watching ‘the game’ will be lost now I guess!

They’ll be fine, inevitably selling out $75 tea times 70 days out…
They're based here in Indy-began as a quaint little place in midtown Indy, then expanded to one of the toney burbs in a big space..i've been saying for years that this place and wdw are a match made in heaven. The decor alone would remind you of Disney. As for the baked goods.they are good, not great and very overpriced. To be fair, they use super premium ingredients, so there's that. They have a small, french inspired menu which is OK. All that to say Rogers will be printing $, even after the hefty rent she'll likely be paying. Its a huge space, but I have no doubt she'll spend lavishly to build it out. It's worth a visit I'm sure, which is why the deal is being made.
