As far as I can recall, and I have nearly every vacation planning video since even before it was on DVD, it has always had a posted wait time of 6 to 8 weeks. Now, I haven't always had to wait that long, but that has always been the expected wait time...

Last time I got mine in ALOT shorter time than had been advertised.

I think that they say 6-8 weeks just so that you leave yourself plenty of time in case of unforseen delays either in shipping or production.

With a DVD, it's not like they have to take time away from WDW to dedicate it to DL. Hopefully the WDW and DL features are separate items on the menu, so you can just ignore the DL stuff if you want.

I'm only joking lol .....

With all the complaints about "Disneyparks" which I could care less about ...I was just having some fun with it.

The last Disneyland DVD was only like 5 minutes long and that seemed kinda weak compared to the free WDW WDWs.

It was seriously lame compared to the WDW one, but on the other hand it did come with that nice 20% off on a $100 purchase coupon. We ended up ordering a second one for our upcoming trip so that our friends could get the coupon as well.:sohappy:

I was having major issues with Disney's website. Some kind of script problem was not allowing the site to load completely and freezing up my computer.

Don't know what it was or what I did to correct it, but I finally got mine ordered. :sohappy:

Can't wait to recieve it. I hope they don't have the tour guide people. I personally like only when the narrator does it. But, I like how they showed EVERYTHING on the last one.

So, subtract the people, add the narrator, keep showing everything. :sohappy:

I have the videos from the past 4 "years" and I've never seen the same hosts. I've seen the same footage being used...but never the same hosts. So for those of you who hated the 4 people in the last video, you should be ok.

I on the other hand, guess I was in the minority...becuase I really liked the last video. Matter of fact, it's been my favorite one so far. I felt like they showed us all so much more about all the parks then they had in previous ones. I hope this new one is just as good about showing new footage as the last one was.

And YAY!!! I've ordered mine too! I'm hoping it comes earlier than 6-8 weeks...but I'm thinking it will be closer to that time frame, especially in the beginning of them shipping them out, because there will be a lot of people like us who are all ordering the videos at the same time. So it will be harder for them to produce and ship them in 4-6 weeks...with the mass influx of videos they'll have to send out.

Y'all want to know something EXTREMELY WEIRD!? I was listening to the score from the Peter Pan movie that came out about 3 or 4 years ago (the NON-Disney version), and I was listening to the song called "FLYING" i believe - which is a GREAT song... anyway - i thougt - "wow, this sounds like it would be GREAT for disney to use..."

GUESS WHAT THAT MUSIC PLAYING ON THE WEBSITE IT!? THAT'S RIGHT! If you guessed it's the score from Peter Pan, you are 100% correct... and it's not even a Disney movie!

:sohappy: I just sent mine in 6-8 wks like it was before! To be honest I wouldn't mind just Erin:animwink: ..as I said before throw Luke in World Showcase Lagoon and that will please me. But even if it's like 2003's version with the Asian girl in the hawaiian garb and they just talked to families while their out enjoying there trip that was pretty comfortable to me...Even cooler would be an Easter Egg on the disc and have the new Top 7 Walt Disney World would be sweet....I love Stacy..

I agree with you that we only need the narrator, not tour guides, but we are in a minority group on that issue. I am going to wait and order mine so I can see the reviews first. I order them every time they come out, but I don't want to be let down. If I hear the reviews first, I will know what to expect.
