LOL thanks for the correction! Think that is the first time I have ever typed Tinker Bell, and clearly, I cant spell!
this water has been banned in the UK for being carcinogenic!
i hope disney know what they are doing selling it!
ps i thought it was Tinker Bell im sure some one calls her Ms bell in peter pan
Like the Tink...would prefer the used Aquafina....not much diff but I can't figure why Dasani goes through the effort of processing tap water through a reverse osmosis system and then adds Pottasium Chloride and something else back in...."for taste".....:lookaroun....did read about Dasani in Europe having a prob with its bottlers somewhere. But as one cannot tote a weeks supply of their own water about easily and keep it cold, I will be sporting a Dasani myself. Hey really folks, much more crud in any soft drink than bottled water health wise.
It wasnt banned, it was withdrawn from sale because Coke had to admit it was tap water, and there was public out rage.
Just like Peckham Springs
So nothing new here...
I was just being a pest.
I was a Sales Manager for Coca Cola when I helped launch Dasani in Florida.
I remember at the initial meetings that after coming up with the name we had to do massive research to make sure the word Dasani didnt mean anything in ANY lanaguage any where in the world.
I remember the huge process Coke had to deal with with doing a contract amendment to add Dasani to Disney Parks. The old contract allowed Disney to sell any water it wanted including Zephyrhills since coke had no water unless you count the regional water each division distributed locally .
The contract was only for the parks-Pepsi had the contract with Disney Quest-not sure if that has changed-no longer with Coke.
Have they repackaged the drinking fountain water? This is the product I consume at WDW, and it would be unthinkable that they give bottled water drinkers something new while leaving us conservationists with nothing. Where's your conscience, Disney?!
