I misremembered. The announcement said the menu is inspired by Brittany, but still not Paris.

Meanwhile the mass majority of WDW visitors are like...

To add, original concept art vs. (almost) finished product.

If you look at the first posts/pages of this thread, it was all about the concept art and how it looks. Well now the product itself doesn’t even really follow the concept art! Who knew!
Definitely prefer the real buildings to the concept art, but I’d probably prefer the signage from the concept.

What building are you looking at? They look very similar and the problems with the promotional art are all there in the built building.

I was referencing the color choices used, the missing canopies along the building’s sides, the closed windows on the right side, the missing flowerbeds, etc. The overall shape is the same, as you noted.

The sign is so pedestrian and central Florida that I cannot stop looking at it and becoming depressed. Has anyone seen the movie or been to Paris? Have they seen their work in Paris Disneyland! It’s about 1000% better.

Canopies and flowers could still be coming.
There’s already light fixtures in place of where the canopies would go. And the flower beds on the top (no room) windows and bottom left (pathway between tree and building is tight as is) are not coming. The bottom right ones where there’s still yellow seem to be indication for flower beds at least.

Also there’s suppose to be another door on far left, but it’s been replaced with windows...

The canpoies could go over the windows without wrapping around the corner where the lights are.

As stated the awnings could be installed with the sconces. A flower box under the little window would still be feasible. Planters in the walkway do seem unlikely but could be done if desired.

The “yellow” is sheathing, part of the exterior wall assembly, not a planter. That’s the quick service order window, the framing for the counter can be seen in the photo.

Those “windows“ are still designed to look like doors, regardless of whether or not they are operable.

None of these are aspects of the art that were criticized.
