New countries at Epcot?!

Hey guys! So a lot of you probably already know that the World Showcase in Epcot has room for 8 (that's right EIGHT) more countries. Originally, a few of these spots were due to be taken by Israel, United Arab Emirates, Spain, and Australia. My question is, what are the top three countries YOU guys would want to see in the WS, and what attractions, restaurants, etc. would you put there? I think my list would go like this:
1. Spain-> The restaurants would be phenomenal, and I imagine that there would be a TON of shows/street performers!
2. Egypt-> Imagine seeing the Great Pyramids at Epcot! Maybe even a spooky pyramid ride!
3. Russia-> How cool would this be?! I can just see Disney coming up with some crazy stuff for this!

So... what would your choices be?

1) Yes
2) Too political, but I'd love some good Isreali food.
3) Russia is perfect

Vietnam would be a VERY good addition!

I don't like curry though, so...not so fond of India. But, it would certainly be a good addition to the showcase. Just one I would probably skip.

I think a country with less political turmoil right now would be the best fit. Russia could work, but Egypt would be a no go as it sits right now. Maybe some other counties to consider that have not been mentioned are Switzerland, Sweden, Iceland.

Agree future world is what needs attention but for the sake of the post I would love to see Greece, Russia, and Brazil. I know the map the OP is talking about with the 8 slots for countries and it would really take away from WS if they did more than maybe 2 more countries I like that there is room in between for transition to the next country instead of just one piled on top of another

I recall that many years ago my family did the Back Stage Tour and the guide/host said that Russia had been scheduled to put in a pavilion (based upon St. Basil's)....but it fell through (political reasons). Possibly it could be brought back again. Iceland would be great - they could put in a volcano (as seen in DTD) and a few Old Faithfuls and mud pots plus a pool so people could make believe they are in the Blue Lagoon.

I would like to see international gateway utilized and the outpost but only one country where the outpost is I think would be perfect and maybe if you really need a 3rd country ok slide one in close to another maybe make UK into a larger pavilion with England Ireland Scotland all with their own pavilion but also all connected? That could be cool

Scotland!!!! Ireland too! I love the idea of Russia. Just seeing those colorful cone roof's (not sure what else to call them) from Future World would be really cool.

I feel Greece is to much like Morocco and Spain to much like Mexico. Please don't yell and curse at me, I know they are different countries. I just feel the vibes are similar. I could be wrong I've never been to any of them. It's just my opinion. :rolleyes:

Now, now, wouldn't you enjoy a Dole whip with nuoc mam? A Vietnam Pavillion could feature Mama Sans Steam Bath Parlor. Serve Bamiba and drinking around the world would include going beau coup inky dau. Add some cyclos and simulated incoming and there you are!:confused:

Greece- The food is good, but now that Spice Road is more of a Mediterranean restaurant it may not be different enough to need both. A ride themed to the Greek gods would be great and they could dust off the Hercules and Meg costumes.
India- Another country with great food, architecture and a tie in with the Jungle Book. A pavilion built now would need something to draw kids to it.
Brazil- Having a Brazilian barbecue restaurant would be awesome. An Amazon river ride would work well.

Brazil and South America in general would probably work better as a land in Animal Kingdom though.

I think Egypt is really close in culture to Morocco, but it would still be nice, especially with the pyramids. Although, I would rather see Saudi Arabia for Jasmine. Spain would be very fun and different, full of excitement. Russia would look amazing, with Saint Basil's Cathedral. There are no South American countries, and I would like to see one, most likely Brazil. A Caribbean island would be awesome - Cuba, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, etc. I think Greece would be really beautiful, with the white buildings. :)

They put nuoc mam sauce on everything. I still get chills when I smell that. BTW It was actually dinky dow from the Vietnamese dien cai dau meaning crazy.
