It is a stand, not a store, and there always seems to be a load of high school kids around it.
If they are buying anything, or just hanging out around it, I don't know.

It's still several weeks from being open. Walked by the other night when the doors were open and they were just painting walls and staining the floor. No fixtures of any kind have yet been installed.

Looking forward to trying it out in January. Sounds like it will be good. I wonder when it will open and if there is a menu availiable.
Karamelle-Kuche, the new Caramel shop at Germany in Epcot, is set to open on September 22 2010
The new shop will offer fresh caramel popcorn, caramel apples, caramel covered strawberries and marshmallows. On the shelves will be gourmet caramels, cookies, brownies, fudge, cupcakes and some unique items from Storck.

The Glas und Porzellan signs have finally been replaced (sometime in the last 24 hours) with signs for the new store. Maybe it's almost ready to open?!

Well they were giving out free little bags of sugar free caramels today in the cast services building at Epcot. That was good at least. :slurp:

The previous store Glas Und Porzellan, had not stocked a new piece of merchandise in 5 years. I seriously doubt cupcakes, carmel and candy will sit for that long 
The idea of a place to get great cupcakes is great in itself. I am going to the media night for Food and Wine on Saturday and really hoping that this is open by then. Today is actually a Cast Member preview at Food and Wine from 1pm-5pm and any lucky park guests can also preview the food at all the booths.

I'm so excited about this! Due to new dietary restrictions I cannot eat chocolate, but can eat caramel. A whole store filled with caramel treats is a dream! I can't wait to try those caramel cupcakes, they look amazing!:slurp:
