So what about those costumed characters .... at least those hideous things hide the performer LOL

The costume used here isn't awful looking, it's just once you get past the head ... lol

Is it meant to be like a "haha" thing or are they trying to be serious with this?

And it always annoyed me that Animal Kingdom was the perfect place for Lucky, yet it was moved. And then Muppet Mobile Lab fit better at both Epcot or the Studios ... and was moved. I take it they were too cheap to keep them?

I believe in both cases those went to Hong Kong (at least originally) because the park did not have enough attractions.

Thanks :) I wasn't sure. I remember them going somewhere. Didn't know if they were yanked or if TDO didn't want to pay for them. I was surprised they kept Remy around as long as they did in France at EPCOT.

Has anyone else noticed that its head sculpt looks suspiciously like the heads found on the velociraptors in Jurassic Park? The Jurassic Park velociraptors have a rather unique and unrealistic anatomy.

The Dinosaur (CTX) attraction has a velociraptor animatronic that looks more scientifically accurate. Why couldn't they at least use the head sculpt of the velociraptor from their own attraction? I hope this new "entertainment" is cut immediately.

Well it's not quite as bad as I thought from the still photos but they will have to minimize the tail movement before someone gets injured (CM or guest)

The leg thing is pretty common, but at least they could have put more effort into hiding them!

For example.

I agree, though I wouldn't say the visible legs are remotely the biggest problem with Disney's version (the pic you posted though did a good job of hiding them, and I also posted a video earlier in the topic showing a costume that covers the legs pretty well). The biggest problem is that the costume itself looks absolutely awful even ignoring the cast member's visible legs, like something you'd see at a cheapo knock off theme park. People have consistently posted some truly impressive dino costume videos throughout this topic. The fact that they all look infinitely better than Disney's is incredibly sad ridiculously incompetence of Disney. Looks no better in motion either (the other videos posted in this thread have way better motion as well).
