Suprised no one has touched this one yet....how 'bout the old story that it's in Uncle Walt's will that the 1st man to bear a child will inherit the Disney fortune. I've heard this since I was a young 'un.
??????? What! o_O That one doesn't even make sense in any sense of the word. Besides didn't Arnold Schwarzenegger already do that? :p

They are probably just confusing it with Cinderella Castle at WDW, which at the time of construction would have required the red beacon if was one foot taller.
Unless the regulations were different, both Cinderella Castle and Spaceship Earth are not quite that tall.

I heard that Meg Crofton is the most advanced audio-animatronic ever created (despite being susceptible to constant crashes and requiring daily bug fixes). And, if you look closely, she is modeled after one of the "brides" in the Pirates auction scene. o_O

There's the one were if you are late with your fastpass window you can ask nicely if they will let you in and they will or if they don't you scream like someone is torturing you and you will get a free weeks stay at a luxury resort for as many people as you want, any time you want, but you still won't get on the ride.

Truth be known I just made that one up, but it could happen.
Darn it there goes my plan for Space Mountain on my next visit. Oh well I'll have to make sure we get back in the window of time for the FP.

I don't know if this is still true, or ever was true, but in the MK, the garbage cans aren't typical. There are no bags or whatnot to be constantly emptied because after you dump something its sucked into a main vacuum through tubes in/under the cans.

Almost true. The trash cans are normal, and are emptied by janitors. Those janitors then dump their big loads of trash at various points backstage, which are all connected to a central trash point behind Splash. If you're down in the utilidoors, you can hear the trash rattling through the pipes at certain times. The system is called the "avac" system, and I believe it was invented in Sweden!

Cinderella's Castle is 188ft tall, anything over 200ft must have beacon lights. That's what the regulation is today according to the search I've done on current Florida laws.

Here's one nobody has said yet:
When Johnny Depp comes to the park during the not so scary party, he will dress as Jack Sparrow and ride in the parade. When he does this, he'll wear the tricorn hat. Any other "friends" of Jack Sparrow aren't allowed to wear the hat, only a bandana. So, if you see Jack in hat, it's Johnny Depp.

So is this true or false?

I can think of one weird rumour I remember hearing and still not sure if it's true. One of those things I assumed was true as a kid but now I'm thinking it just sounds too strange to have happened.

Don't laugh but were Walt's final words, "Kurt Russell"?

I don't think it was his last words, but it was the last thing that Walt wrote.

Hmmm...looking it up there are still conflicting reports but Kurt Russell was on Jimmy Kimmel and said that he has seen the paper on which Disney wrote his name. I'm assuming it was for a role or perhaps indicating that he was actually murdered by Kurt Russell

Really? I find that such a strange story. I assumed people on here would tell me I was an idiot for believing it. I can't seem to find why it was...any ideas?

Kurt Russell was a new child star hired by Disney for live action films, and had just completed a movie about the Boy Scouts when Walt passed away.

The general story, as I've heard it, is that Walt was probably writing out an inter-company memo (no email back then) and never finished it.
