Like we have been saying...We don't want a direct lift of MM...We want the feeling, combined with something new for DAK.

And how would this kill JII? You think it would help it! If they see trackless working, why not use it more? (Like in JII...?)

Having Countdown here killed the plans to bring Indy to Studios when that was happening. Now after ten years we have more of a chance, but that ship has sailed and chances of getting another EMV so Similar, is slim at best.

Getting a Dark Ride with many of the same illusions and ride system at Animal Kingdom wouldn't help Epcot get that same kind of ride at Imagination at all.

Might be a bit different now, seeing that the company is very into using things over and over and over and over and over again.:lookaroun:lol:

EPCOT should come first is all respects, though.:D

You mean kind of like how putting in the Haunted mansion prevented them from making other Omnis? And how it's a small world prevented any other boat rides? And how Big thunder prevented any train type coasters?
Oh wait....

If anything, it would help. I think the more of a specific ride system they have, the easier it is to maintain (spare parts and such).

I believe all this HK expansion is under exclusive right for 5 years. And if this is true, it's for the other Asian parks. I'm almost 100% sure that having a clone (or variation) of it here would not affect their attendance over seas.
How many people honestly go to asia for a theme park? Not many, I assure you.

I think it would make total sense if they designed it, so it could be implamented here as well.

From the looks of it lately, the current powers are into attraction cloning (even within the U.S.; TSM, and little mermaid).

Also, we all know that there won't be any major expansion at AK for at least 5 years.

I'm pretty pesamistic about this actually happening as well, but It's logical.

I've never bought that rumor. I think it's because of budgets, not because of two ride systems.

Fact: After The Living Seas' Seacab ride, (The end of the Era of when Boat Rides and Omnimovers were acceptable means of conveyance, even so they could have two of the same ride system together) THEY STOPPED BUILDING OMNIMOVERS. It took them TWENTY YEARS to refurbish that one, and it'll be three years to build the first made from scratch Omnimover. The days of using those ride systems religously has passed sadly, and now when a ride system is passed. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but Disney TODAY isn't looking to be building two of the same ride system in the same time frame.

And it's not about affecting attendence, it's about having a draw to be open to that possibilty. Right now HKDL has NO attraction that can't be found in another Disney Park, so why would I visit that? This attraction, is supposed to help that.

Not the last part of the paragraph is Fact, that's opinion that they don't do that anymore. The FACT is that it's been Twenty Years since Living Seas, and there has been no more omnimovers at WDW. Mermaid will be the first, and that's theree years away.

Bring all the neat stuff from Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong to the US parks, I say. Cool as some of this stuff sounds, it ain't enticing me to hop the Atlantic or the Pacific to see it.
