That was the "pond" side of Palavas les Flots (near Montpellier). In the past we’ve usually stayed in a campground in Palavas but with my DD’s BF with us, I found a campground in Sete that was better suited to us (mobile home with 2 bathrooms/showers). Here is a couple of photos from the beach today:

Looks very nice. I had to look up where it is though! Google maps to the rescue! Camping in a mobile home with more than one bathroom is my idea of camping, no tents for me. I was done with that in my teens.

Mine didn’t bloom at all this year.

Hydrangeas are very forgiving. My Mom pruned hers down this winter to about 12 inches.,It’s now as high as it was last summer. The cold got her blooms too.
