I'm thinking of starting another thread now about multiple threads.

When my daughter finally signed up w/ wdwmagic, she was so excited she posted (may have been fav disney song) and someone bit her for posting it again. She got her feelings hurt - she is only 12.

That is so awful!
Just out of curiosity, has this been happening a lot lately, and I've just missed it? :veryconfu I remember it being to the point of ridiculous when M:S first opened, omg, thread upon thread upon thread! I've mostly been mingling in chit chat since I haven't a clue when I'll get to go to wdw again... makes me too anxious to go if I read too much about it.

Why do some people feel the need to include how many times they've visited WDW at the end of their message? We've all been there many times before and will continue going in the future. Does that mean you will continue to update your already ridiculously long list. I mean, really!

If the rules are five lines for a signature, then thats what we should do. I didn't realize that until someone pointed it out to me and I changed it a few months ago.
HOWEVER, that is not what davea61 was complaining about. He doesn't like people listing how many times they've been. Personally, I love to read where people stay and how often they go. If I'm reading about their opinion of say the Contemporary and they've been there five times, or they've stayed at every deluxe, their opinion would carry more weight then someone who'd stayed onsite once. Maybe I'd just PM them to ask a specific question as opposed to starting a new thread.
Just my opinion. Look below to see how many times I've been and where I've stayed.

OK, I'm sure I'll insult some people here with this message, and I apologize in advance as it is clearly not my intention.
Anyhow, I've noticed alot on here that some people start to complain when a topic comes up that has apparently been talked about in the past.
I've seen it a few times myself. I think some people need to understand, not everyone has been on these boards very long. There are new people on it every day, and they all like to discuss things about Disney World that have already been discussed in the past. I think it's somewhat rude of people to make remarks like "oh here we go again", or "how many times has this thread come up".
For alot of people, the thread hasn't come up once. If you've been here for a while and you run across a thread that has been up before, just skip by it. Doesn't seem fair to make new members feel bad about talking about things that have been talked about before.
Again - No offense to anyone. Just something to think about.

There was a thread on this subject along time ago. Do a good search and you may find it.
