So, the wife and I have decided on some deocrating themes for our house. The living room is going to be Wilderness Lodge/Fort Wilderness themed, our bedroom will be Adventureland, the second living room is going to be Animal Kingdom, the nursery is going to be general Disney, our guest room is going to be oceanic/Nemo/LMM, the kitchen is pewter chef Mickey/Disney white and blue with grapes theme.

Thought you all should know this.

We 1 rooms left, our sun room. ANy ideas?

I am bored at work for 12 hours today...

Love the Adventureland idea!

I've got a room drawn up for a rec room/bar in my (eventual) house.

As for the sun room, what about a Fantasy/Alice in Wonderland-ish theme?

At what point does one cross that imaginary line of sanity that takes them from being a sane casual fan of Disney to an obsessed weirdo? This might be that line.

No, sublimesting is not an obsessed weirdo. A lot of people spend an enormous amount of time, energy and money decorating their home. Decorating a la Disney is probably a lot more sensible and less pretentious than what a lot of people do.

Welcome to the world of Obsessed weirdos then!:D:wave:

Though I do not think of any of us as weirdos...this forum is not really full of "casual" Disney fans...

I was thinking about doing a Hollywood Tower Hotel theme for my bathroom...however I was having trouble finding various items for it. I never picked up anything from the ToT gift shop.

Also our bedroom has a ton of our Disney/WDW memorabilia. It's arranged all classy-like. :D

Try antique shops and flea markets. You need lots of 1930's style period pieces. I neglected the bathroom myself.

We have been feverishly working on Disney puzzles for the nursery (we have 4 months to finish)...those puzzles that look like paintings. We did Peter Pan over Moonlight Bay, and are working on Cinderella - Magical Moment, Jungle Book, and Snow WHite - Sweet Kiss Goodbye. Also bought a bunch of Disney stuffed animals at Disney Store. It's a girl by the way.
