Trip Report My Hauntingly Live Trip Report

Good morning everyone. Just arrived this morning. All checked in at GF (to our surprise we were given a room with a view of the castle)!

On the resort monorail to TTC then on to Epcot. FPs loaded on our magic bands.

Dinner tonight at Narcoossees followed by a fireworks boat cruise from our resort!

Back to this afternoon and the African Trek

This is the view of the Savannah from the area we had snacks.

Snacks on the Savannah
There was chicken salad, fruit salad, hummus and bread, shrimp, ham, and salmon. They all had much fancier names however. There was also an excellent fruit juice.

Brayden tried, but did not like the edible flower. Nobody else tried it.

They gave you binoculars to look across the savannah, but you didn't really need them. Brayden just loved looking with them.

The antelope were so close you could hear them tear the grass from the ground with their teeth!

Just a few more animals as we drove out from the Savannah

Found out today there are no male ostriches on the savannah. The dominate female has actually become darkened with the absence of a male.

Dinner at Cali Grill was great as always. We ate with my brother and his family and my parents. Its my mom's birthday Tuesday so it was our treat. They also decided to go to the party again tomorrow night, so after dinner we called to get our tickets then walked to the MK will call to get them. They headed back to their resort (Caribbean Beach) and my brother's family and I met up with my sister's family and we headed in until a little after 1.

A few pictures from dinner. I had two different craft beers. Crystal had the Monte Ray.

For dinner (sorry, no pictures) I had the scallops (excellent) and the spicy Kazan roll appetizer. Crystal had the Halibut and California Roll. Others had the 24 hour short rib and pork tenderloin. Everyone enjoyed their dinner!

The kids loved being together!

At Monster Inc, the picked Brayden's joke: Why did the lion cross the road? To get to the other pride! They picked on the two-headed human (my brother and Marcus). And before the show, I was buying everyone churros!

The larger courtyard pool was not open in February, so we spent most of the three hours there. Its a gorgeous resort!

Got to MK just before 5:30 tonight. Went to Under the Sea with FP+ then met Cinderella and aurora. Now on to get in line for Mickey and Minnie. Does not seem as crowded as Friday and I didn't think that night was bad.
