Been a reader for over a year now and love the site! I have a question about MNSSHP. We went lasst year and we were told we could have gotten in at 4pm with our tickets, receive an armband and be fine to stay from 4pm and not leave until the HP was over. I was surprised! We have AP, so it's not needed really. But we are going this yer with people who don't have AP. Does anyone know if you can get into the MNSSHP earlier than the 7pm time listed on the ticket? THANKS!!! Kim

Hi Kim,

I went to the MNSSHP this past Sunday, and had no problem getting in before the official 7:00 start time. I didn't go as early at 4:00, but did get there around 5:00. The CM at the turnstile swiped me in with the MNSSHP card, and there were plenty of other CMs right inside handing out the wristbands and candy bags. It seemed like a pretty large number of partygoers were entering the MK by that point.

Though I have no personal experience, I have read other posts here that indicate that you can get in as early as 4pm for certain events....

After reading here that we could get in early, 2 years ago we got to the turnstiles at 3:50. They guided us over to one side of the turnstiles and told us they would open up at 4pm for the party. We got our wrist bands and trick or treat bags as we entered. It saved us form using a park day to go over early. We were able to ride the train, BTMRR (twice), Splash and have dinner all before 7pm when it officially started.

we were over a couple of weeks back, and went to MNSSHP on the 21st of Sept, got in about 6:30pm, and wondered - the park has been open all day, and there's no "shut-down" before the HP, so surely all those already in the park can stay in there free of charge, i didn't see any CMs challenging people without wristbands, and there were a fair few people around without, we thought afterwards that we could have saved ourselves nearly $100 by going earlier, and not leaving by 7pm

I have heard about people without wrist bands at MNSSHP before too. But when I was there on the 30th the CMs were very agressive in making sure that people without wrist bands knew they needed to leave. Even on Main Street, when we were waiting for the early parade to start, we were asked several times to show our wrist bands.
