My Extremely Late, Picture Filled, May-June 2012 Trip Report.

First of all, sorry I am so late starting this trip report. For whatever reason, I just wasn't in the mood to post. I have slowly been uploading the pictures. That the was the first issue I ran into. On my previous reports I used ImageShack for my pictures, well I have met my limit with them. So, I started looking into other sites for uploading my pictures. I looked at Flickr, I do like them, but I can't upload enough pictures on there without paying. At this time, I don't want to pay for uploading my pictures. I tried a few others, but everything was so limiting. I finally decided on PhotoBucket. We will see how this goes. If anyone has suggestions on better places to upload pictures, let me know. Now on to the trip report.

The cast and crew.

First off, ME! Almost every picture of me is with one character or another. Either that or a PhotoPass picture.

This trip took place from May 24th thru June 7th. We took two days to drive there and two days to drive back. We had a total of ten days in the parks with one off day. I bought my first Annual Pass and Tables In Wonderland card. The TiW card came in handy, saved us a nice chunk of change. We stayed at Pop Century, my favorite.

This report will be picture heavy and light on words. I am leaving in less than 30 days for the next trip and I would like to be finished with this one first. Hope you tag along!

After hanging out for awhile, we made our way to Magic Kingdom. We took a bus from MGM to the TTC and then the Monorail to Magic Kingdom.

I caught part of the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It Parade.

I started roaming around and just hanging out. I walked the whole park and didn't ride a single ride. I still had a blast. It was nice to just relax for awhile.

Dinner was at Pecos Bill tonight. I had the taco salad. It was quite good. After dinner we made our way to Pirates, a night cruise on the Jungle and the a final ride on Snow White. (Or is it?)

I had to visit Winnie the Pooh for a ride, then visit Buzz. Our last stop for the night was Monster's Inc Laugh Floor.

It was a very late night, left Magic Kingdom around 1 am and in bed back at Pop by 2 am.

Jess! Wow! I'm really enjoying your perspective in all your pictures. For a point-n-shoot you really are catching some great shots. They're different. Familiar but in a fun way because they're a little different. I love how you seem to look up a lot. Isn't it amazing how much detail there is when you look up??? It's everywhere! Blows my mind. Hey! I just noticed! You're using your bag! How did the size work for you? Was it okay? I was so worried it wouldn't be big enough. Very cool! I've never spotted my little creations in someone else's pics before. I've got goosebumps. Thanks for the opportunity. Thanks! I use a Canon SX30 IS, which is a bridge camera. It has most options that a DSLR has, but without the detachable lenses. I do have 35x zoom though. I have read up on all my different features on my camera and am slowly learning. This trip was the first time I went full on Manual mode! I was so nervous, but you have to learn at some point, right?

The skillet at WCC is so yummy!! I had it last year for the first time and loved it!! WL is my 2nd fav resort (Poly is my first!) and we've stayed there twice. It feels like "home" to us

I don't know about 3 more hours, but you definitely need to start making some bags. You could be funding more Disney trips! And Dooney's! LOL

I will be there in 23 days! Are you coming to our meet up in Epcot on Friday the 28th? Some of the other girl cruisers will be there also.

I love that skillet! I love sausage to begin with, so that skillet was like heaven for me.

I hope to have some more up soon. I am determined to finish this before I leave on the next trip.

Thanks. I won't lie, it's hot and crowded. But you can still enjoy yourself. You just have to go in with the mindset that it will be hot and crowded. Work in some afternoon naps/downtime and you should be fine. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

May 28th-MGM

We were let in MGM around 8:30 this morning. We sent my brother and sister to get our FP's for Toy Story Mania. Too much of a crowd for all six of us to run through. We did make our way over to TSM to ride standby first.

After our first ride of the day, we headed over to Starring Rolls for breakfast. I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake! Finally! It was freakin delicious. I loved it and can't wait to have another one.

We then got another FP and used our first one for TSM. Can you tell we like this ride?

Our next stop was the Backlot Tour. I know some people don't like it, but I do. I didn't like how wet I got in Catastrophe Canyon.

This is when Tropical Storm Beryl decided to show up, we went for an early lunch at Pizza Planet to wait it out.

After lunch, we split up. I did a little shopping at the Writer's Stop. Then got stuck in another downpour, but this time at Studios Catering Co.

My dad and brother went on Star Tours, while the girls went through One Man's Dream. I go through this every time, and love it a little more each time.

Time for some more shopping before dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe. I had Mom's Favorties minus the fried chicken, extra pot roast. Yummo!

After dinner, we roamed around before heading out the park.

We made it back to Pop for 7:30. Ice cream and arcade time was the business of the evening, before an early bedtime.

Thanks. I like taking pictures at odd angles. Gives new life to something that I already have dozens of picture of.

Jess and I have been texting about meeting up for snack around the World and watching Night Ranger on the 28th. Once we have a time set, I'll post it for anyone who wants to join us.

OMG! I love, love, love that skillet. I ate so much of the sausage, I could barely move after. I couldn't help myself, it was just so good.

Thank you. Just take multiple pictures with different settings. That's what I did to help my odds. LOL.

I see that we will be at Pop the same time. Definitely need to keep an eye out for each other. Maybe we can meet up, even just for a few minutes to say hi.
