My Extremely Late, Picture Filled, May-June 2012 Trip Report.

First of all, sorry I am so late starting this trip report. For whatever reason, I just wasn't in the mood to post. I have slowly been uploading the pictures. That the was the first issue I ran into. On my previous reports I used ImageShack for my pictures, well I have met my limit with them. So, I started looking into other sites for uploading my pictures. I looked at Flickr, I do like them, but I can't upload enough pictures on there without paying. At this time, I don't want to pay for uploading my pictures. I tried a few others, but everything was so limiting. I finally decided on PhotoBucket. We will see how this goes. If anyone has suggestions on better places to upload pictures, let me know. Now on to the trip report.

The cast and crew.

First off, ME! Almost every picture of me is with one character or another. Either that or a PhotoPass picture.

This trip took place from May 24th thru June 7th. We took two days to drive there and two days to drive back. We had a total of ten days in the parks with one off day. I bought my first Annual Pass and Tables In Wonderland card. The TiW card came in handy, saved us a nice chunk of change. We stayed at Pop Century, my favorite.

This report will be picture heavy and light on words. I am leaving in less than 30 days for the next trip and I would like to be finished with this one first. Hope you tag along!

Jessica! I LOOOOVE your pictures!! Like my mom said you have a creative eye! Hoping to try more of manual mode on this trip with my Canon Powershot. A little less fancy than what you got but I love it! Plus I will have a tripod that my mum got me for Christmas! So excited!

And can I say your one picture of the Tower of Terror made me drool...yes I miss it THAT much...

I was so beat down with all my last minute sewing projects before my cruise I was sooooo not ready for more requests. I'm so glad to know that YOU love the bag. Everyone else who liked it is lagniappe, right? I don't blame you for sporting the Dooney. I would, too! LOL! Thanks again! I'll have to cook up some more and get that store going on Etsy that I've always talked about.... Can I get about 3 more hours in each day for that??? LOL!

Kelly, you definitely need to start that Etsy site, I do not mind funding your cruises/Disney trips at all! That bag you made Jessica is so pretty!!!!!

I bought mine at the DTD Guest Relations, right after I turned in my AP voucher. I think you can purchase it at any ticket window.

Jess and I have been texting about meeting up for snack around the World and watching Night Ranger on the 28th. Once we have a time set, I'll post it for anyone who wants to join us.

OMG! I love, love, love that skillet. I ate so much of the sausage, I could barely move after. I couldn't help myself, it was just so good.



Thank you. Just take multiple pictures with different settings. That's what I did to help my odds. LOL.

I see that we will be at Pop the same time. Definitely need to keep an eye out for each other. Maybe we can meet up, even just for a few minutes to say hi.

Great TR and I have to agree with your pictures! So nice! I would have bet you were using a DLSR. I have a bridge camera also (didn't want to have to carry around all the lenses) I've only used it it auto mode. Looks like I need to learn more about manual mode so I can get a little more creative!

Love the report so far! I think you also managed to catch a shot of something that just totally sparked something in my brain. I have to go find something and then I'll explain. LOL!

I just have to say that I noticed something quite funny... your brother got an awesome hair cut (what a difference) at the MK Barber Shop but then the next day at Winter Summerland I can tell in the one shot you posted that he's wearing it like his old cut (flat). Tell that boy he looked handsome with it all spikey! LOL!!

Thanks. I love my bridge camera. You just have to force yourself to use manual mode. I figure that since its all digital, I can take as many pictures as I want.

May 29th-Epcot
We had to take the long way to breakfast this morning. We took the bus from Pop to MGM and then the boat to Beach Club.

Breakfast was at Cape May this morning. I like this breakfast, since it is never very busy.

I love these chocolate chip muffins.

More muffins and Mickey waffles!

As we were leaving Beach club, it started pouring. So we slowly made our way to Epcot. We finally made it, just a little water logged.

Now it was time for me to try out my new camera in Spaceship Earth. I played around with the settings and edited them all afterwards. I was pretty pleased with my first set.

Next up was a tour around the World.

Right around here, we were all ready for a late lunch. We stopped in the American Adventure. Then the skies opened up again. And it rained for a couple of hours. So, I have no pictures from the second half of World Showcase today.

Our next stop was Living with the Land. I love this ride.

May 30th-Off Day

We started today at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast.

The food was very good. I loved topping my Mickey waffles with chocolate chips. It was so good.

Mad Hatter was hilarious. Poor Alice couldn't get a word in.

Here comes the big gap of time, where I have no pictures. After breakfast, we did some arcading, some swimming, I did some napping. Around dinner time, my best friend and I went to DTD.

Somewhere over the course of the night, I bought my second Dooney & Bourke. I bought the 40th Anniversary messenger bag. I love it! It is the perfect size for me to use in the parks.

Dinner was at Earl's. You know I couldn't stay away for too long. I'll be back for more real soon.

May 31st Animal Kingdom

Tusker House was our first stop this morning. Another great breakfast spot.
