My Disneyland Vlogs

I was one of those likers. I liked the comment first off because he created an account and came on here to give us his point of view. Also I just think it's kind of hypocritical for any of us to judge what someone else does with his time, (whether he's getting paid for it or not) especially when a lot of us spend a lot of time in Disney parks chat room. Lol. Also, I have seen a couple of their vlogs and was not annoyed by them unlike some other super obnoxious vlogs I've seen floating around. Lastly, I have hard time getting that emotionally invested in someone else's vlog, that no one is forcing me to watch. If anything, it makes me happy to see people happy and doing something they love.
I completely understand your point. What gets me mostly though was the spreading of misinformation and asking people to help pay for their exploits. Something frankly a grown man with a full time job shouldn't be doing. But still, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and no one is forcing us to watch their videos. Dave did come on here respectfully and handled himself accordingly. I'll give him that.

I kind of read it as a vanity thing.

Billy Zane also appeared in Twin Peaks. There is an episode which also features David Warner (who was also in Star Trek and Doctor Who) and a line of dialogue that James Cameron ripped off for a pivotal scene in Titanic. It gets worse. Bob Iger was instrumental in getting Twin Peaks on the air.

Maybe the only good thing Bob Iger ever did. *don't throw things at me*

Also, vlogs in general are vanity projects.

Had you not read the intro to this thread and jumped into the videos, would you have been able to tell this was intended as satire, or would it just come off as another Disney loon filming themselves, albeit doing the Haunted Mansion over and over again?

Considering I have a very weird sense of humor, I would have just found your videos refreshing. Maybe not immediately satire, but I would have been drawn to them almost instantly.

That is why I like your videos. They are funny, smart and have a good amount of mocking.

Fresh Baked and others come off as childish to me but they do shoot things well.

Best of all, your not talking in a cartoon voice the entire time like Disney Bears without Day Jobs do.

Of course if you did, the video would go viral.

My cinematography may be comparatively lacking and have a raw sort of quality. Crappy, you could say. But from viewing several Disney YouTubers, their content is hollow. They don't take any risks like they're corporate kiss butts trying to become the next must-do Stacey.

As for being smart, one of the things I enjoy doing, and you may have noticed, is not focusing on anything newsworthy. I'm constantly surrounded by it, but it's like a byproduct of the real content. Last episodes, the train kept going by in the background, but I wasn't there for the train. I was talking about something else, the train just happened to be there. This last episode, where it's incredibly obvious I'm intoxicated and possibly even deteriorating over the course of the night, Fantasmic occurs, but it's only briefly glimpsed through the entrance to the Haunted Mansion Fatspass area.

Finally, you get to see the Fantasmic lighting on the Mansion itself. You never really witness Fantasmic, but it's obvious it's happening. Even Mansion itself, which is always the main setting, is rarely glimpsed, but it periodically makes its presence known and it's obvious why this is all taking place. It's like the shark in Jaws. No, better. It's like the Next Gen Enterprise in Star Trek: Generations, which is rarely seen from the outside during the film while the interiors are dimly illuminated. And it's all going to come crashing down soon.

I love that you are related to FreshBaked, vloggers who are also named Justin and R Kelly. Sums up the random nature of your vlogs pretty well.
