My Disneyland Vlogs

I still don't know how I supposedly ended up in a war with some ridiculous Disneylander YouTube video series. Have you seen my videos? Anyway, @mickEblu made me feel bad for some reason. I took a finite amount of video this weekend. The Haunted Mansion Fastpass area is venting steam, not unlike Titanic just after she collided with an iceberg. Hadn't we better get the women and children into the Doom Buggies, sir? Open the gate right now! We have to stay in the Mansion as long as possible! No guarantees of any more footage this year.

Lol, how did I make you feel bad? Cause i said we have a Vlog-off?

Well, I decided to end taking videos of myself doing The Haunted Mansion over and over again like a weirdo (see: Annual Passholder) and you reacted similar to how I did when Ginger left the Spice Girls and Jack Dawson died. I don't see the interest in these anymore. They definitely peaked at some point and something special was captured on video because even I can watch certain episodes and be entertained by myself, like when the 10th and 11th Doctors met. I don't consider these official episodes, more like bizarre crappy spinoffs that are still considered canon, such as the 1990s Doctor Who TV movie with the 8th Doctor and his amazing hair.

I have ALWAYS loved the garage door. It holds my attention during that scene.

Why is there a garage door in the attic? Is it supposed to be a garage door?
Right as you hook around the corner of the ballroom scene, on the left wall is a roll-up garage door. Its not "intended" to be noticed as Kira says. Your "attention" should be drawn to Constance and all her wedding treasures.

Its just a maintenance/loading door.

I believe it's a service area but we don't care about that sort of behind the scenes nonsense. In front of the scenes, it's a secret nonsensical charming doorway within the Mansion. No one cares where the various doors in the hallway with the tulip lilypad lamp lead. But the garage door? It's so mysterious and accidental that you can't help but wonder.

Kira, you are a trusted voice in this debate...

How would you feel about them adding "scarier" elements throughout the attraction that are only operational at night after the kiddies are asleep?

The only scary elements of the HM were the additional heads popping up in the attic before Bridget Jones moved in. I prefer it chintzy and charming, not any scarier than that.

Hopefully they release a new Ghost Host hat.

Fair enough. I have noticed those heads only tend to pop up at night though.. Or maybe I'm just not paying very close attention all the time.

As iconic as POTC is to say I was underwhelmed with the merch is an understatement. I feel like they somehow got caught off guard and we're preoccupied with other things.

Facts.

Pirates is my favorite, and I was completely disappointed with the lack of offerings in the park for its big anniversary. I feel like they did more for the Tiki Room.

Hopefully Mansion gets the attention it deserves.
