My DHS

My ideal DHS would have all the existing attractions, plus the Great Muppet Movie ride, Dick Tracy's Crimestoppers, and any of the Roger Rabbit rides they had developed in the 1990s and even announced! Plus, the existing Great Movie Ride would be refurbished to its full potential and revamped slightly.

Just curious, in the time it took you to write this message and then most likely check your other alerts couldn't you have made the poll?
Sorry! I could say the truth, that I was busy, but I obviously had time to go on mobile and check alerts and other threads. Guess I'm just a procrastinator. :)

My DHS: LUCASLAND
The challenge you've been waiting for...Lucas Land. You must create a fantastical land based on LucasFilm properties using up Echo Lake and the parking lot. ILM, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones are all encouraged. Go, future Imagineers, GO!!!!

So it has to be based on Lucas? ok :(

Ok, I'm not really into Lucasfilm enough to want to design an entire land for them so I will just come up with another option for those who agree with me. The main objective of this idea is to say "ok so now we have lots of great attractions in DHS, how do we keep it from not going back to its old state?"

So even though I don't want a whole Lucas land, I do think something from IL&M would compliment Star Tours nicely. So Commissary Land would be come Industrial Light & Magic Lane (but refereed to as IL&M Lane). This is home to The IL&M Studio Tour, which takes guests through various special effects demonstrations showing them how movie magic works. I think this would compliment Turtles studio area nicely. The tour would replace the American Idol Experience. The other new addition on IL&M lane is the Movie Magic Theater. This theater would change shows every year but would open with a short film "Visual Effects: Re-Designing Cinema". The film would show guests the origin of VFX and how it has changed cinema forever. So, that's it for IL&M Lane, or at least for it's first year.

Now for Echo Lake. The film industry is a fast moving one. Movies die off very quickly and it's one of the main problems DHS and Uni face everyday. To avoid this I think the Echo Lake area should be used as a constantly changing space. So Disney can create a top notch land (done in proper detail with sufficent funding) based on their biggest movie of that year and then smash it down and build another one next year. This way people won't be able to complain about DHS growing old. Imagine if we had a Tron:Legacy land in 2011, then a Brave area in 2012, and now an Oz area for 2013 (And of course a Star Wars area for 2014 ;). Now the areas wouldn't have full fledged E-Tickets of course, but they could use the Indy stage to have their own stage show base don that movie (or something else if the imagineers are feeling a little crazy). They also could use the space 50's Primetime holds now for a themed eaterie.

But make sure you understand this. It would only be done if it had the right funding and the right amount of detail. No half job. I'm not talking Cars Land here but it wouldn't be an eye sore.

Well that's my idea, it's not my best but it's the best I could do on a 40 degree day (Celsius) while stuck inside my house with no A/C. Hope yall enjoy :)
