DHS MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

I went to the Apple Store this weekend and did a Vision Pro demo. While it's still expensive and not something everyone will have in their homes any time soon, I could certainly see Disney releasing the footage for Vision Pros through Disney+ and it being a very realistic experience. Sure there would not be the bubbles falling, for example, but mostly everything else could be very well replicated.

A lot of effort for a few dozen people to enjoy.

It's almost like Disney's just biding their time until they can charge admission to Disney's Digital World to "ride" as many attractions and see as many shows as they want from the comfort of their own home. Part of the all new Disney++ experience!
I’ll be curious to see how their POV videos that drop in a few days stack up to the better ones produced by various YT’ers. I feel like we had better Tiana videos a day or two after it was opened than the official one Disney released.

Now I'm picturing Sweetums lumbering through the warehouse from Raiders trying to find Bean's crate still yelling "Bunny!! Where are ya!?"

Obviously not as great as physically being there but not everyone is able to ever visit a Disney park (or not often) so would be a nice option to have

I still believe making the 3D theater next to Imagination an extension of Muppet Labs and putting it in there would be great. Give Honeydew a door in the queue with the other famous scientists.
I do like that idea - muppet labs being part of the imagination institute makes sense for many reasons.

But Epcot has so many screens to watch already - I don’t think it would get as much attention as DHS.

Hey folks, I'm in the process of working on a YouTube documentary (the first of likely many) involving the full and complete story of Muppet*Vision 3D. I've done interviews with over 20 people (former cast members, imagineers, and even puppeteers that directly worked on the film itself).

To ensure this is the most concise and complete history possible, I was wondering if anyone in this thread had any pieces of information that isn't as widely known or any rare photos/videos documenting the attraction and it's surrounding land through the years.

It could be the littlest of things like a sign being altered or changed, some weird theming added temporarily that never returned, anything that's associated with the history of this iconic attraction will be included in some way, shape, or form.

The documentary will be covering everything from the cancelled Muppet Studios land to Disney's newer Parks attempts with the iconic characters (Mobile Labs, Regal Eagle, Jollywood, Rockin, etc) but any and all information is happily welcomed!

Thank you all for any further assistance you can provide and have a wonderful one!

(P.S: My name is Shishagumi, you can call me Shish for short).

I was just coming here to share this picture of yours….hope you don’t mind as viewers here I am sure would be interested in seeing it.

A great shot of the current progress, but depressing for those missing this Attraction.

I find it particularly sad that what is left of the signage is still lighting up…
