I'm super sad about Mama Melrose's closing; I haven't been since they overhauled the menu and cut my beloved shrimp campanelle. Many wonderful memories of eating there with family and friends; not sure I will get back there before they finally close, but hope I will. Wish they could keep it open until June like the Muppets.

Vogel was a perfectly fine Uncle Deadly. I feel like perhaps the rot that is finishing off the Muppets comes from higher up, namely Iger. (Same thing happening to Indy, Figment, etc)

I know the Henson family finally raised a finger but it might be too late. Sesame Workshop has also done nothing, and are being consumed by David Zaslav.
They could easily give it to Peter Linz who does Walter but, does Ernie on Sesame Street.

Disneyland is not run like WDW. While there have been cuts - they still have way more attractions per park, don’t close and replace nearly as much, and have way more live entertainment and food options in the parks.
Unfortunately it’s being run more and more like WDW. The Hyperion and Fantasyland theaters, both very large theaters, sit empty with nothing on the horizon. Disney’s greed doesn’t stop at the Florida state line.

I actually give credit to WDW for actually having so many live shows still, in comparison. All your other points are well taken, though.

Yea this post a little delusional.

More food is a lie and their entertainment is on cycles just like WDW has its up and downs.

They had to close and replace an entire park with DCA 2.0 and that’s going downhill now.

Also, this is NOTHING compared to what Disney will do in preparation for Marvel and AniDom at WDW. When they get Marvel back, even TOT won’t be safe.
Marvel yes, I'd especially be worried about EPCOT once Marvel is allowed for Florida.

Animation Domination... eh, outside of Simps and maybe Futurama I don't expect a lot of those IPs to touch WDW.

The Simpsons also may quite possibly have ended by the time they get the rights back. AFAIK Futurama is over already.

I hope none of them show up except for Simpsons I could tolerate a moes tavern in Hollywood Studios but in general Disney has a billion ips that deserve representation more in the form of a shop restaurant ride or show

I think that, given how little representation Disney has historically given successful tv shows, we have no reason to assume they’ll do more than Simpsons.

I concur especially especially since they don’t want to give phineas and ferb (I do really love that show in case you haven’t noticed) or ducktales a ride even though they’re 2 of the most popular Disney channel series of all time

They have few live shows at this point, no more Hyperion or Fantasy Faire shows. Fireworks aren’t fun every night. DCA is 40% flat rides. The table service at DLR is far less than at WDW.

I was under the impression that Marvel will go to DHS, if not animation courtyard, will take out Indy and star tours.

This is a bummer for summer trips. Leaning towards giving HS a half day or having that day have a big midday resort break. The park just sucks with little kids. It has enough (Fantasmic, TOT) that we can’t outright skip. Fingers crossed LM and villains helps fill a little of the gap.
