Then I would cry because I find that song melancholy.

Some of the best Disney attractions are inspirationally sincere. The Hall of Presidents, Soarin', Flight of Passage, Illuminations. They dare to entertain and inspire.

In fact, the willingness to be absolutely sincere – to the edge of sappiness – is largely what sets Disney apart from Universal, which is usually too cool to try for that sincerity.

A Muppets Hall of Presidents could be fun. But it would be a shame to see Disney lose one of its most successfully sincere, inspirational attractions in the process.

Beautiful arrangement of “Rainbow Connection,” but wrong for this attraction. Takes you out of the moment, which is higher and loftier than the Muppets, to whom this song is tied.

Although the tweets ended up not being about the Hall of Presidents, I still believe what my sources say. If you look back, I even admitted I was guessing that this could be what the tweets were about. Obviously I was wrong about the tweets. It happens. This soul can’t always be right. I was also not correct on the announcement’s timing. I guess it’s going to have to be a wait and see sort of thing. Sorry guys; really thought I had the timing right on this one.

Do you see this being something like "Great Moments in American History" or do you see it as some sort of hybrid of the existing show with Muppets?

Can't wait for the Lin Manuel Miranda animatronic! Right? That's what they are putting in? Excited for Weird AL!

You'll be waiting, because once the pandemic really started taking its toll on budgets, the expenditure on this attraction was cut to nearly nothing at all. They're putting a new head on the current animatronic, adding new dialogue, and putting the Trump head on a mostly static figure. There's no more cash for anything other than emergency expenditures.

I’m split on this...

On the one hand...makes total sense

On the other...sounds kinda like cowering in the corner. We should own it.

I have a hard time taking the “wants” of Florida seriously right now...but that’s just me
