I have a question: Since DL and WDW often "share" parades, why couldn't Tokyo DL share a parade or two with WDW? Sure, I know the cost of shipping floats, etc., may be prohibitive but TDL has such awesome parades, it's a shame for us over here to not be able to see them.
It's not that easy... The Tokyo parks (and everything contained therein) are not owned by Disney. They're owned by the Oriental Land Co. and everything is licensed by Disney. Which means, basically, that it would be some kind of "rental" situation between two companies. Not out of the realm of possibility, but a whole lot more complicated than going from DL to WDW, which, while I'm sure they're separate divisions (which complicates things), they're still at least all controlled by the same board.
Plus... I'd imagine TDL knows better than to let WDW's maintenance crew anywhere NEAR their parade. Having seen it in person though... It's AMAZING. Just amazing.
