MSEP Returns

I'm fine with either MSEP or PTN, at least something's getting use. What burns me is why can't Soundsational keep going?!?!? Does it REALLY need to close a YEAR before a new Day Parade? this is worse than POD or C!ASP closing right before ACF and then opening C!ASP and Soundsational respectively the next springs. CADCT closed only 2 months before FOF.

IDK Why DL can't run 2 Parades?!?! DL's lucky they announced MSEP or they would have gotten a LOT of blowback!!!!!!!
Reusing the same floats chassis is most likely the cause here. Hopefully it doesn’t take them till spring to open this new parade.

Yet again your lack of knowledge regarding the situation is showing. While beloved by guest, the parade was injuring cast members all over the place.

Yet again I'm not sure why I would be expected to know how many OSHA claims a popular parade at Disneyland has.

I can see the Disneyland fireworks from my back deck, but I can't see the medical claim spreadsheets inside TDA.

If the parade was dangerous to performers for some reason, I would think they'd rework choreography and equipment to make it less dangerous. Or call Hong Kong Disneyland and ask how they are able to perform the same parade there seven days a week at 9:00pm? https://www.hongkongdisneyland.com/calendars/day/

MSEP was Classic Disney but over the years neglect and time has taken its toll. No more iconic Dumbo circus, Pinocchio or Blue Fairy floats. Even the Baroque Hoedown isn’t the classic version that most people expect to hear. The whole thing is just sad to look at now.
At least the Blue Fairy float lives on at Tokyo.

There's nothing quite like announcing a major addition to the entertainment line-up on a Friday afternoon, immediately following two nights of presidential debates that will dominate headlines for the next week+. It looks incredibly sloppy, hasty, and unorganized. But, hey, at least they found enough gaffer tape to let those floats bump and jiggle their way down the parade route without completely falling apart for a couple months more!

Yeah, I thought the Friday afternoon announcement was more than a little suspicious and sloppy looking too, but I didn't want to pile on.

This whole thing is just weird. And sloppy looking. And seemingly panicked.

I can't figure out why they suddenly need to bring the MSEP back. Again. For only August and September, just as the AP blockouts lift for the 800,000 AP holders who didn't get a reservation for Star Wars Land in June. So sure, go ahead and announce that on the Friday afternoon before the July 4th week. Ahora!

Oh honey I did 3 years with disney so I am WELL aware of their **** for cutting left and right. But keep defending a company who wouldn't care if you died tonight 😂😂😂
Honey? Slightly demeaning, but okay. Don’t mistake me providing information as defending the company. I have no stakes in Disney nor have I ever worked there. Just have a passion against the spreading of false information. If you have some inside info I’m not aware of then I apologize, but currently you just sound like a scorned former cast member.

Here's video footage of the Return To Oz float.

God, that is so charming. The Gump, Tik Tok, Tin Man and Jack the Pumpkin Head bolted awkwardly onto the thing. People probably didn't even know what it was. I still don't know whether or not it truly burned in an horrific accidental fire or was simply removed because the movie was a massive Solo-like disaster and the addition to the parade totally jumped the gun and became completely inappropriate.

Speaking of Solo, Smuggler's Run was inspired by the that disastrous flop, but that ride will be around forever. It just doesn't seem fair.

If only we could find video footage of the short-lived section promoting The Fox And The Hound from 1981.

The Fox and the Hound section can be seen behind the old Pinocchio section.
