MSEP, MK Perimeter fireworks, heading to WDW this summer - Summer Nightastic

Chiming in a little late because of that thing called work, but....
After the lackluster holiday season we just endured at WDW, it seems that the masses may have been heard louder and clearer than we might have even known. I can't help but believe that some of the griping about the lack of pixie dust during the holidays didn't have some effect on how much they are attempting to pull out all of the stops to keep folks in the Disney parks this summer. I could be wrong but this is one heck of a bucket load of pixie dust for the summertime guests.
Honestly, I have NEVER in my life EVER wanted to go to WDW when it was summer because I do not do hot and I do not like to sweat. However, for 3M (or any kick buns new show they want to use in the place of Wishes), the MSEP, and new ToT effects, I will do whatever it takes to get there! I am willing to dump my December 2010 8 night AKL trip for a summertime long weekend at POR or POP even if it means that I get to enjoy these entertainment options. Seriously, OMG!

Nothing offically announced on this. My info was that a Tag was being looked at - so either it hasn't been decided upon yet, or it's been cut.

I too was hurt because I only get to go to DL in the summer and I love Remember. However, Magical was a good show and the soundtrack was pretty awesome. If Magical is any indication of a summer show, I have no worries regarding the soundtrack. I hope our version of Summer Nightatsic! becomes a yearly thing. If so, I have a glimmer of hope that Fantasmic! updates could be coming in the next decade..
Somehow I don't think that's quite the effect they wanted the new offerings to have. :ROFLOL: Swapping an 8 night deluxe stay for a 3 night value, if too many people do that they may change their minds. :animwink:

Well this is a nice way to start the decade for WDW, sounds really exciting. Hope no setbacks...:shrug:

I was thinking more along the lines of updated projectors and such, not a new dragon or anything. Although obviously I wouldn't complain if we did get some bigger updates.

Shame if it's cut, but in light of what we DID get, I'm quite pleased.
A new Tag would have really been stellar for this announcement.
Agreed, updating it slowly (technology-wise) can help. It's aging :dazzle:
Yep either way, some new stuff is always well received. A perimeter pyro show at MK (whatever it may end up being) will be great. 2.5 months of perimeters is unprecedented.
The Tower chage is a great move.
There is still time for something to be added to RoE - but we should perhaps not get our hopes up.

Yes, Perimeters are going to be incredible. I'm just VERY curious to the name and details of the new show, seeing that it won't be MMM. Perhaps it will be like Magical where Davidson releases info periodically.
Still hoping for ROE- yes. Even new lighting and laser effects would be a welcome plus.

I usually see RoE once every two or three trips and any kind of addition will definitely get me to catch it this summer.
