WDW is going to accelerate entertainment. The arrival of David Duffy was not a random appointment.

I should have said "Turbocharged" ;)
That's

If they would add a few more attractions/rides to AK... it desperately needs a good night show and reasons to keep people there later (and a show that can be performed multiple times based on capacity/seating). Water features, lights, lasers, fire, barges with projections, drone type show or something
You know what been extra wonderful regarding Entertainment at WDW? More seasonal stage shows that doesn't rely on Cinderella Castle. As decent is for Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular and Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular Halloween Fireworks Show (sheesh that title is a huge mouthful) for MNSSHP) and the somewhat decent Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration (The less said about Daisy's texting song the better) alongside Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Fireworks. Those shows don't cut it compared to the healthy variety MK and some of the WDW used to have during the Halloween and especially Christmas seasons.

I'd imagine DAK would get a massive entertainment boost to make up for the future loss of Dinoland?

What if DAK gets a nighttime parade? Obviously not to the scale of MSEP or PTN... but something at a smaller scale/more unique? I know the parade route at DAK is tricky... but they're ways around that?
The Discovery Island River could make for an interesting hybrid of a parade on water (just with boats).

Rivers of Light - as much as I am still head-over-heels in love with the original score and visual concept - was a preview of the mistake they'd eventually make with Harmonious: Too focused on the hardware, not enough on the story.

The production team reverse-engineered a story around the self-driving floats they had developed, and the show ultimately died by their limitations. The horde of floating lanterns would never be deployed as the tolerances between them and the larger floats were incompatible, and we were left with a partial version of an already compromised effort.

The root concept had a ton of potential, and had they focused more on the visual projection quality with larger waterscreens and including the TOL - instead of minimizing everything else to focus on the floats - it could have been salvaged.

I still listen to the soundtrack. Often.
me too, love it. Always felt We are One would have sounded great for the Epcot fireworks but they didn't go with anything that had the same type of feeling, except for the opening.

This 100%. FOF is fine. If they are going to build a new parade, it should be in addition to that not replacing it. Either a day parade at DHS or a light parade at MK

Still unknown though if it really will be a brand new light parade. If it is some sort of updated MSEP or PTN then they should replace FoF along with it. But highly unlikely we get both lol as nice as that would be.

Past post:
Long time no post.

It's not MSEP, at least as you know it.

AK entertainment or bust.

Plus they will need something in AK to offset taking down Dinosaur, Dinoland or It’s Tough..
I can see them building the Dinoland replacement in phases, with Dinosaur going down only after a replacement for PW opens. Because, yea, DAK really can't afford to close any more rides right now (beyond TS)

If MK is working on a Light Parade(New or Old). Wouldn't it look weird if we had FOF in its current state, then a Light Parade with a Full Cast at Night?? I agree FOF doesn't need to leave, but it needs to be restored!!
