Is it true that Mac wouldn’t be able to make the turn in Liberty Square or is that just speculation?

I can’t imagine he could make the 90 degree turn that would be needed if the parade went to DHS, either, so is it safe to assume regardless of where the parade ends up, if it comes here, it’ll be without Mac?If

Somewhere in the original thread from 2016, there was pics of measurements and what not, if memory serves, I am pretty sure it was all but confirmed that Mac would not be able to make the turn in Liberty Square, I think it had something to do with the bridge as well. If we are getting an abridged version and it can fit on the DHS parade route, I think it makes more sense right now. I do not have any qualms about PTN being in a castle park as many others do, but I just think with Enchantment, it would make the most sense to run it at DHS. They also could run FoF at night as well (I believe), I know the units don't have onboard lighting like Magic Happens, but the lighting used for OUACT & BTY could be used.

If PTN does get shipped over, they wouldn’t send over MH to right? I say this because it was recently rumored that there were no current plans to return MH to DL.

Send both! --- I'm just kidding, but I don't see why they would, TBH, I didn't really understand it in the first place, while yes something new would be nice, WDW FoF, while it is getting old, it's still a great parade IMO and I don't see any reason for TDA to want to send MH here knowing TDO's track record with parade maintenance, which also has me wondering how they'll be getting PTN over here.

FoF seems to have been maintained pretty well over these years. Maybe once ops get tired of it they'll leave it outside accidentally during a hurricane.

Mac wouldn’t make the journey AFAIK. I wouldn’t care if Cars was cut altogether. Meh.

Leave cars over there as a DCA night cavalcade. As long as we get "when can we do this again" playing at WDW again I'm happy. I miss move it shake it.

Cars doesn’t exactly have the strongest presence at WDW, toddler-show-no-one-can-find notwithstanding. And I just don’t care for the movies.

Well, there's the Cars section of AoA, and the Racing Academy at HS. I don't mind cars, but IMO, Disney needs to stop beating people about the head with an IP just because it does well in theaters. (Yes, Elsa, I'm looking at YOU.) There needs to be balance and less princessification of everything. Part of what makes MK great is that the original layout and IP inclusion didn't rely too heavily on pleasing one demographic - it was designed to appeal to everyone. I really think modern Disney has messed that up in a big way.

I realize that. And it's not that I think IP is bad, per se, it's that I think their use of it as a battering ram is bad.

Besides Mac im guessing another float that might not make the journey is Belle/Princesses? Unless Paint ends up going to MK. I’d be completely content with them not sending the Incredibles float but unfortunately that’s a float I could see WDW wanting .

Anything would be better than the current views of the World Showcase Lagoon. The 4 giant tacobell tacos and the stargate are a pretty large eyesore in the day.

I could see them announcing on Saturday, very vaguely, that PTN is coming to WDW but not say which park. Keeping their options open. Unless of course the decision has already been made for DHS.
