Aah.. those are some good eyes you have! WDW would never open a ride w/o safety precautions. Do you think it will will have a lap bar or seat belt??

Well I am a Quality Inspector in my current position and used to be a safety Inspector so its kinda second nature...I would prefer a Nascar type harness with maybe a Hans(sp) device.

I think I am going to sue Disney. I had the mission:ladder idea waaaaay before Disney did. I would climb up the ladder and paint stuff or go into the unknown realm of the attic to find stuff. I really think I will be able to win this one. lol

Disney tried lap bars, but they decided you get more of an experience with seat belts.

They'll probably open it with a lap bar and then a few years down the road, they'll discover this and replace all with seatbelts. :)

Yeah! That's going to be great! Maybe they'll make a little dicast ladder w/one of the disney characters attached. Or wait! A remote controlled ladder! The possibilities are endless!

Ladders

Now this is where I draw the line. It happens to all the parks with these thrill rides. Is this going to be a family ride? Or just for teenagers. I mean, will the ladders come in all sizes so the whole family can go on? Come on, this is the problem with Disney today. They don't think of the family, it's becoming thrill ride after thrill ride. I think we should start a letter writing campaign to complain. Let's make sure this is fit for the "Whole" family!

THE LADDER

Surely if this is going to be a family ride, when parents "take small children by the hand" they might fall off their ladder? I recommend that they are fitted with neck restraints!!! LOL

I am sure Disney has thought about all safety issues regarding the ladder.

Yeah!! Disneys gonna make loads with the merchandising! I heard the latest product is "Ladder" ladders! They are almost unique to THE "ladder"! Also, mac donalds are gonna be providing ladder toys in all kids meals!! :sohappy:

This topic is hysterical. I'm impressed with the many ways you have managed to relate a "simple" ladder to the marketing strategies of Disney - right down to the Happy Meal toys!
You all should be on payroll at Disney - I believe you could sell anything!
Keep it up!!

The tshirt!... I can see it now!... Mickey is walking UNDER the ladder with a bewildered look on his face... the back reads... "7 Years Bad Luck!!!... I Suggest You Take the Chair!"
