Also.. "Mission: Plastic Lawn Chair" is in test and adjust.. The theme of this ride will be to simulate relaxation, and possibly a backyard barbeque! It will truly bring Epcot into the next century.

Sources say that M:PLC may open in time for the Food and Wine Festival. :animwink:

Doubtful, Eisner was heard running his mouth, and was quoted as saying "Its not ready yet? Its only a peice of lawn furniture!" With this statement, disney slashed Epcot hours to 11-1.

This is so disappointing - I can't believe they've toned down the ladder element of M:S. The old placing was so much better. But I am pleased with the phenomenal themeing of the chair. I'm glad Eisner didn't ruin that with budget cuts...

It has already been removed... Rumours have placed the new chair attraction somewhere near the outpost in WS

No! My super reliable, imagineer source told me that M;PLC wont be open until December!!

But I heard from my ultra reliable source that M:PLC is going to be the most technoligically advanced ride system ever! They might be theming a new park around it!

Well... my mega/super/knows everything/president of WDW source told me that they were planning to move the M:PLC attraction to the old 20,000 leagues spot! :D

this is awesome news to say the least! -in my opinion, since 2 of the 4 ladder systems are already visibly in place, and with the rumored third one almost complete (currently in the giftshop area) i definently think that the entire pavillion including both M:Ladder and M:PLC might be open by eisner's rumored july 4th opening date.

... the only thing is that one of MY reliable sources tells me that both these ride systems are completley state of the art, and that even though CM training is currently in progress, learning the ways of these amazing new systems may take months upon months of extensive training -this is the only thing i feel might be standing in the way of a mid-summer opening date.

 lol we're such dorks! :lookaroun :hammer:

See, this is exactly what's wrong with Disney. A single ladder attraction - sure, that's groundbreaking. But to clone 'em all over the place - it's like what they're doing with spinning Dumbo clones. Pretty soon they'll put a ladder attraction in every park.

I'm going to write a really long letter to Eisner to express my disappointment.
