I remember often seeing a bunch of plastic chairs and other junk just out of guest view in the area beside the energy pavillion. Maybe one of them wandered away!

Maybe in a freak effort to cut costs, the ride will now be exclusive to one lucky guest at a time who will get to sit in that lone chair and enjoy the view of the M:S pavilion!

So I guess we can say that everything's going to be high up inside of Mission: Space. Think about it... Whenever you don't have a stepladder readily available, what do you get? A chair!!

Great pics, sean!

That ladder really helps to put things into perspective. I honestly did not think the ride building was that large. Normal pics must be decieving, having something to relate to though, that building is massive. not to mention the excavation!:D

Once you really look at it, it really does. I've never really seen the building close up in real life. The only time I've seen the building was back in April 2002 and I had to sneak under ropes to take a decent pic...

I'm definitely going digital before I leave for my CP stay

My family would be in big trouble if they decided to to that w/o me

Well i have a DigiCam, but I prefer my Nikkon 3500 with my telephoto lens, its good for tho clean shots that you cannot get with a digital cam becuase of the pixels

If you have a high enough MegaPixel cam, and set it on fine, you dont get bitmapping as bad. My cam is toast.. I am getting a lot of bit mapping during my night time shots.

Wasn't there a rumor about rides for kids at M:S. I think maybe the chair is the first sighting of the toned down M:S.

I hope that isn't the case. As for the camera, we have one that is very high in pixels, but i still like the image i can get from my camera, you can do things you just can't do with digicams. Its impossible to drag the shutter on a digital camera...

I hope this is for a kids ride at M:S. Otherwise I will be very disappointed if the ride is really this low-tech. I guess they could sit you in the chair and let you play the original Asteriods video game. At least I used to be good at that game.

So, you're thinking two table top Asteroid machines and four chairs. Each chair will represent a different person... navigator, pilot,... I gotcha.:animwink:

Sorry for the thread drift gang....

Your right... That’s why I like to dig out my old non-digital cameras. Gotta love the adjustable f-stops and things, and manual focus :)

Ok... back on topic...

Looks as if the Ladder is moving up in the world... from the soon to be gift shop.. to the Entrance now!
Un-named sources say, "The ladder is in test and adjust right now, we are finding a suitable place to place it... to minimize wobble." CM's are being interviewed to man the ladder.

Also.. "Mission: Plastic Lawn Chair" is in test and adjust.. The theme of this ride will be to simulate relaxation, and possibly a backyard barbeque! It will truly bring Epcot into the next century.
