Does anyone know who the creator of the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade was?

Burn it. Burn it with fire.

Sorry. I'm no help. I have a rather big hate/hate thing for this parade.

It's also so head-splitting loud that permanent hearing loss is a concern.

**edit**
And, may be just me, but they could have the characters and stilt guys dancing around singing "Give us your money. We won't stop until we have it ALL. You want to give it to us. Do it." Celebrate! We're rich and you're broke! LOLOLOL!!!!

The reason I ask is because one of my girlfriend's co-workers (who is not a Disney CM) claims to be the creator of the parade and she wants to call him out on it. So she just wants to make sure that it wasn't really him before she does so. :)

Gotcha. Hey, kudos for the effort on doing your homework before calling BS on someone. Well played.

To my understanding it is François Laroux. A mad Frenchman who was transferred from DLP to oversee entertainment in the American parks. For some reason that can not possibly have involved superior DLP entertainment.

But a lot of people are involved in creating productions like these. And even more will grossly overstate their role.

MiSiCi is an excellent opportunity for character interaction that doesn't involve giant wait times, which unfortunately have become the norm. It's colorful and energetic and fun. And since most people don't look up show times, it's spontaneous for most people. Sure it's loud, but it's a party after all!

Mind that he (and it's Leroux, not earlier misspelled Laroux, sorry) is nominally responsible. Leroux was VP Entertainment at WDW. So ultimately the final responsible.

He too might claim responsibility for creations that aren't his, the way people below him might greatly exaggarate their part too.
Large productions are 'created' by a great many people, true or false all depends on what exactly they claim they created.

Haha you're thinking of Francois Leroux- and yes, he used to play for the Penguins. Great guy!

Edit, oops. Empress beat me to it. Again. :)

I got some awesome photos of this parade, was pretty psyched to see it midday, when my energy was bottoming out and we were grumpy from not eating breakfast (I almost never do). It was a nice wake-up.

Best pic ever? My Mom singing and dancing, turning towards me looking absolutely THRILLED and the happiest Ive ever seen her. I framed it. :)
