Most underrated ride/atttraction in WDW

I agree with you - "One Man's Dream" is such a terrific attraction, and the film is awesome and touching. But yeah, every time I've seen it, the theater has never been full. I think it's the show building itself - it's not terribly impressive. It needs an new look, one befitting the story of the Man Behind The Mouse. I'd make it look like a lavish, miniature, old-fashioned movie palace, with a sparkling marquee and paintings and sculptures of the greatest Disney characters all over it. That'd grab people's attention a heck of a lot better than that bubble machine that was being used the last time I visited WDW.
The film there got a lot better in 2006 when they got Eisner's ugly face out of there. :D

I couldn't narrow it down to all of WDW, but I can by park. I also decided to add my Overrated opinion too.

Magic Kingdom:
-Overrated--Peter Pan's Flight (too short for such a long wait)
-Underrated--Carousel of Progress (still amazes me)

Epcot:
-Overrated--Soarin' (still one of my fav rides, but it is still overrated)
-Underrated--Living with the Land (always changing)

Hollywood Studios:
-Overrated--Studio Backlot Tour (not so much to see!)
-Underrated--One Man's Dream (so much to see!)

Animal Kingdom:
-Overrated--Expedition Everest (commercial makes it look more intense)
-Underrated--Rafiki's Planet Watch (has some interesting exhibits and a animal interaction area)

Well I have been under medication for a lung infection for over a month, so I apologize for the American Experience name.. its what I could dig up while I was typing with out looking up the proper name..

Maelstrom would be next to the top of the list had they not changed it,, where as before the boat came much further out of the cave and then the "troll" was flashed at you on the ceiling.. it was a much more exciting ride. the ride now, is some what lackluster..

however, the personal working the area make this land one you cannot pass up, no matter what..

Impressions de France - Absolutely love this beautiful film, love the music, and love the setting. Plus it's a great place to give your tired feet and legs a much needed 20-min rest.

AND

Maelstrom - Love the dark, moody atmosphere of the ride. It's too short but I could seriously ride it over and over.

The Hall of Presidents. There's something magical about all the little movements and gestures they make, and how real they look. It's like stepping into US history and I hate US history. It all just seem magical.

The Great Movie Ride is also pretty amazing, with it's nods to Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Indiana Jones and the Wizard of Oz. It never has a long line and it's just a big nostalgic trip through Hollywood History. I love this ride.

I have to say Muppet Vision:3D. It always makes me laugh, even though I've seen it numerous times. It may not be as good as PhilharMagic of It's Tough to be a Bug, but it is a great 3D show that I will continue to see on every trip.

I like your method so I think I'll copy it.

Magic Kingdom:
-Overrated--Dumbo (I get it, but it spins...that's it woooo)
-Underrated--Carousel of Progress (always try to convince other guests to ride it)

Epcot:
-Overrated--Soarin' (doesn't come close to real flying, boring)
-Underrated--JII w/ Figment (not the original, but still underrated)

Hollywood Studios:
-Overrated--Toy Story Mania (a video game, with a huge line)
-Underrated--MuppetVision 3D (just hilarious for all ages!)

Animal Kingdom:
-Overrated--Kali River Rapids (will not go on again if I have to wait for it, horrible queue)
-Underrated--Dinosaur (great thrilling ride)
also, the park as a whole is largely underrated (great themeing, just needs a little growth to top it off)

Underrated? Dinosaur. It rarely has that long of a line and yet it is the original E-ticket anchor of DAK and one of my favorite rides Disney has made.

Overrated? Soarin'. It's an enjoyable attraction, but it's not worth waiting over an hour for. If I can get a Fast Pass for it, I'll ride it, but other than that, I won't.

I'm glad you agree with me...

I like TSMM, so I can't say that's overrated. JIIwF is not really underrated because it isn't that great of a ride even if you don't compare it to the previous versions.

Everything else I agree with you on.

I think Tom Sawyer Island. It is so peaceful over there, a great place to watch the daytime parade from without being in the crowd. There are so many fun things to discover..like the hideout escape tunnel.

I too think Soarin is overrated. I really like it but I won't ride without a fastpass. Why not put in "Soarin's" in some of the countries?? I would like to discover the land of the countries from the air. It would make some of the films in WS more interesting and perhaps cut down on the line for Soarin over California.

I think the Hall of Presidents or the American Experience are both underrated..

I totally agree - IMO the American Experience is by far the best attraction/show in EPCOT. The detail and fluid motion of most of the AAs and synchronization with the backgrounds is fantastic and the overall 'story' is very moving (I'm sure I'm not the only one that has wiped away a little tear at the end). :(

I would have to say COP first off. I hope this classic stays forever. We avoided it the first few times since we didn't really know what it was. After we finally tried we have been hooked. Also Gran Fiesta Tour. This ride never has a wait yet it is a nice relaxing ride. The beginning through the village and the pyramid are worth the ride by itself.

I think Nemo doesn't get the respect because the previous version was in many ways much more creative and better fit the rest of the pavilion.

I agree the original fit the pavilion better at that time but I remember being very underwhelmed by how short the ride was. Even though I believe the ride length is the same it seems much longer now. I miss the original EPCOT but this is one they got right. Turtle Talk compliments it perfectly. The biggest thing the pavilion needs is the exit doors blocked from view and an E-ticket.

My family love 'One Man Dreams' if it wasn't for Walt's dreams we wouldn't have Disney.
It really is an incredible story and also a testament to this country, that a guy who goes broke some years earlier can create something so successful and eventually becomes one of the biggest companies around not even 100 years later.
