I really wanted to try the salmon dish at Artist's Point but was put-off by the side of pork-belly hash. That just sounded gross to me.

But I was wrong. The whole dish was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Loved the hash! Belly and all.
Isn't pork belly sort of like bacon? It sounds interesting.

Yes, it was sort of like little bits of bacon in square chunks. It was all quite tasty and I don't know if they customarily do this but we got the recipe for the salmon attached to a cedar plank to take home with us. Nice Disney touch!

I always love that cedar smell when I go there. Unfortunately, I am not a salmon lover. That is one of my favorite restaurants.:slurp:

The scallop at Brown Derby used to be wrapped a thick cut of pork belly (bacon)now it is just typical thin sliced bacon and it has shrunk and they don't call it "pork belly" anymore

The dish I was the most surprised at was the Shrimp Lo Mein at Yak & yeti counter service. It is very good for the price and loaded with Shrimp & veggies. :slurp:

Caramel Ginger Ice Cream in China, and yes, the soups at Boma. Most especially, the Chicken Pepper Pot soup. I grabbed the recipe and make it at home sometimes. It's stunningly good.

I totally forgot this one, but I make it like once a month! The mushroom medley appetizer at Rose and Crown. We ordered appetizers cuz we had Free Dining and they came with the TS meal, and we looked at the menu and really couldn't decide so the server recommended those mushrooms.
fantastic.

The Tea Time Chicken at Rose and Crown was awesome. I usually don't like chicken on the bone but loved it. I don't think that they make it anymore.

Breads!

The Bread Sticks at LeCellier
The Mexican Corn Bread at the Maya Grill
The Hard Rolls at the Biergarten

Can't tell you how great the breads are everywhere we went.

The noodles from the CS restaurant in China. I expected the usual, barely edible CS stuff but instead I was pleasantly surprised.
