I have to say Le Cellier. Food is way overpriced for what you get. One of the best places for steak in NYC Peter Lugers is about the same price as this place and way better.

Way better - yes. Same price, not at all. Tomato and onions, a couple slices of bacon, creamed spinich, steak for X, and a holy cow and you are looking at north of $100 per person.

You can

You can get a steak for two people for 85 bucks and its way better than Le Cellier.

If you go to Peter Luger's and order a steak for 2, you will get a steak for two. No sides, no drink, no bread, nothing but a steak for two.

I am not denying the fact that Peter Luger's is head and shoulders above Le Cellier (I think Le Cellier is garbage) but to suggest you could eat at Peter Luger's for less money that Le Cellier is being facetious.

I never said less money about the same price. Even if you pay more at PL, it would be a better value overall.

I didn't enjoy eating at Crystal Palace. It was full of large groups and kids running wild and the food was not spectacular. Not really my scene, but I can see why some may enjoy it.

I am not going to disagree about the value and quality - Peter Luger's hands down. But even yelp has Peter Luger at $$$$ (Above $61) and Le Cellier at $$$ ($31-$60)

Having a dinner at Peter Luger's is going to cost more, and not a buck or two, than dinner at Le Cellier. That's not a bad thing, it SHOULD cost more. It is worth it. Peter Luger's is priced correctly. Le Cellier is way overpriced. Maybe $20 per person is what you mean by "about the same price" but not to me.

The Luau at the Polynesian. I have a pineapple allergy, and let's just say it was not handled well. Those in my party not eating salad and ranch dressing the entire time said the food was just okay. The show wasn't that good either. Except for the male dancers...especially the fire dancer...

I'm surprised at the number of people bashing Le Cellier. I've never had a bad meal there.

We have been lucky, all the meals we had at Le Cellier were really enjoyable, however having said that, I certainly don't think it's worthy enough to be called a Signature restaurant. Years ago, we went to Mama Melrose after reading great reviews online and it was one of the worse meals I have ever had at Disney (second to the now defunked L'Originale Alfredo di Roma restaurant). I read how much Mama Melrose's has changed, but I'm still afraid to eat there.
We had one bad meal at Mama Melrose's. We sent it back and ended up getting two of the meals free. Other than that one time, it's usually pretty good. Of course, when I was little and we ate there, I looked around at the records on the wall and said, "Mom, look at all those big CDs on the wall!"

I've only eaten at Le Cellier once for lunch (last year) and my party all really enjoyed it. My bf said his pork chop was the best he ever had. Of course, I have a hard time determining whether a restaurant is a good value or not because we use the DDP and so far every time I've been, it's been on my parents' dollar (thanks Mom and Dad!). Next time I go will be at my own cost so I'm sure I'll gain some perspective.

Haha, me too with the parents. Once I start paying for it myself...

I really enjoyed my visit to Le Cellier. I think the cheese soup is overrated though! Everyone in the restaurant was gushing over it and you always hear people gush over it but...it's just soup. I made better at home :-/ But the filet with risotto? As good as the hype.
Same goes for Ohana. I get some don't like the seating and all but it's become our family favorite place to eat. We call it (rather energetically) "Meat Feeeaaast!" because we all crawl out of there about to explode from too much eating.

Most overrated for me would probably be Brown Derby. Our last trip, we clocked it at 3 hours. For lunch. It was ridiculously slow and the food was pretty blah to me from start to finish.

I've never really had a "bad" meal or "bad" experience @ the Disney restaurants!:)
I'd have to say Liberty Tree Tavern's Family Style dinner was not my favorite. Not a great choice unless you really like Thanksgiving-like food! I didn't really like the food ( family style) @ The Garden Grill, but the characters were great!:) We had a very bad waitress @ San Angel Inn. We had to ask for our chips and salsa ( I know that's no big deal, but...) The food @ Boatright's Dining Hall was not served hot.:(
Most over- rated at the moment for me would have to be BOG!:(

I definitely agree with you on Brown Derby. Not worth the hype.

But the cheddar cheese soup? You didn't like it? I always get it because it's my favorite. We also get the poutine. Canada: the only country in the world where they eat french fries, gravy, and cheese curds and it turns out good.

I'm glad you liked the filet. My mother always orders the steak with no mushrooms and Au Gratin potatoes instead. I will never understand it.

Be...Our...Guest...be our guest, put our service to the test...the dinner here is NEVER second best!

We loved BOG. We got it once at the beginning of our two week August trip. We're trying to get it a second time because it was fantastic in January. Hands down best restaurant at MK.

I tend to find the Mexican servers are not as good. For one, I feel like a lot of them don't speak English as well, so I have to switch to Spanish to get what I need. We like La Hacienda better than San Angel.

To be overrated one does not meet the high expectations given to it via reviews and reputation. I see Sci-Fi, Mama Melrose, Liberty Tree and the likes mentioned. The reviews over the past few years I have seen have not been too kind (eaten at them in the recent past). Could restaurants like these even qualify to be overrated ? Possibly a better chance to be underrated.

With that said I will throw Via Napoli annnnnnddd Sanna in the overrated column - runs while objects are thrown at me :)

I will also add that I cant say I have had a really bad meal there. Bad service yes.
