One of the most memorable threads, and perhaps historically significant was the one related to the Epcot 25th Anniversary.

It was the thread started in response to Disney commenting that nothing was being done for Epcot’s Silver Anniversary back in 2007.
Fans were quite upset, and yours truly thought - Well, why don’t we just all show up and celebrate ourselves?

So I started a thread here on WDWMagic and turned things around with a few friends.
That grew into a few thousand friends, and it snowballed into a ‘fan movement’ that made history.
Disney did a complete turnaround.

The Epcot 25th Celebration happened because of that thread….and ALL of us.
It is still here…

You’re welcome….

🥳

Also have to add that the legendary threads started by ‘Spirit’ were highly entertaining and informative at the time.
And let’s not forget the epic ‘Troy Porter’ thread over in the Disneyland Forum some years ago.
Eddie Sotto’s thread was also massive and informative.

I was at that 25th celebration... Met quite a few fellow WDWMagic members that day!!

Very fond memories !

For my money my most memorable in my short time here was last D23 live and the thread turning into the RoA memorial thread a second after the shoe dropped

I like looking at "Spaceship in Spaceship Earth" though.

I nominate all three variations of the Splash Mountain/Tiana's thread. Those were a warzone at point
As soon as those threads started to simmer down, the Cars Land/ROA/TSI thread ignited a new flame. That thread doesn't include the sociopolitical aspect that the SM/Tiana threads had, but the battle between nostalgia vs progress has been quite contentious.
